Could you please review the three listed US Oil & Gas midstream companies which are not MLPs?

Please rank in order which would be the best company(s) for allocation of capital.

Are there any other US C-Corporation midstream companies which I should be reviewing?

These would be held in a US dollar denominated RRSP account for long term growth and income.

Q: Just noticed payfare. Sounds interesting. What's your take on it?

Q: The Japanese yen has been week for 3 years and Japanese corporations are apparently starting to be more shareholder friendly. Supposedly many Japanese corporations are sitting on lots of cash and finally they are starting to buy back stock and start/increase dividends. At least that is what I can glean from the business mass media. Does 5I agree with this appraisal of the situation? If the answer the answer is yes then I assume you agree that some exposure to the Japanese market would be prudent? Then what ETF would you suggest? I think something unhedged would be better in case the yen starts wakes up and starts to appreciate.

Q: Hard to stomach a stock that i own that can pay out 170 plus million for no results to some genius resting on his last performance, NO, this abuse, i sold my holding and i feel that they are only looking after themselves and not the shareholders.

Q: I know 5i is not a big fan of KPT (KP Tissue). I owned a few years ago when I good dividend was hard to find and got out of it with a small capital gain. I have been watching it slide down to $9 per share which makes the dividend close to 8 per cent again. The third quarter presentation of the parent company, Kruger products, showed that debt is getting paid down, margins are up especially size the price of pulp is down. Next year's capex is guided to be slightly less than last year including the investment in their new Sherbrooke plant. If KPT could sustain the dividend with higher pulp prices, higher trucking costs, and lower prices for the products they sell then surely the dividend must be safe. I already bought a little at $9. Should I add some more and if the answer is no can you tell me why?

Q: Please recommend a ETF that concentrates on companies that build weapons.Today's WSJ has an article that these companies are running huge backlogs. Thanks.

Because my son has a relatively long investment horizon for his RDSP (to age 49), what are your recommendations to optimize this much-needed benefit for his later years? Are ETFs a preferred option over equities?

Q: Happy New Year and thank you for the valuable service you have provided over the last 10 years.
I am considering doing a transfer in kind from my RRIF to my TFSA of both TOU-T and WELL-T. Both are showing a loss in my RRIF (poor timing on my part), but I think a recovery is likely and that they are good long term holds. May I have your comments on whether to do the transfer, continue to hold them in my RRIF, or sell them outright and then transfer cash and add to NVEI-T which is currently showing a loss in my TFSA?

Q: How do I determine Berkshire's earnings for 2023?

Q: This is a general market question. I hold too many companies in my equity accounts and would like to reduce the number. On the other hand, my overall portfolio is up more than 11% over he past 3 months. I am overweight financials but I see them as benefitting from potential rate drop. Most of my holdings are growth oriented. I do hold approximately 15% fixed income, short and longer term bonds.

What would be your overall approach given potential rate drop and anticipated slow economic growth? 90% of my holdings are for long term. 10% are trades.

Take as many credits as required.
