Q: TTD Your thoughts on the quarter and outlook from here please. Hold or change over to something else? Thx

Q: I feel like I ask this question every few months, and suspect that it is a hard one to know with confidence- but here goes. The Trade Desk- it bounces up and down, recently with a drop over 50%. Does this look like a reliable bet going forward? Do you trust its momentum to continue near term? Is there an alternative you would recommend?

Q: Hi 5i - Five years ago, you suggested that my son (now aged 31) invest his early career earnings in in NVDA, TTD, ROKU, DOCU, FLIR, TEAM, CRWD, KXS, SHOP, LSPD, GSY, DOO, BYD, REAL, DSG. He largely took your advice a few of your picks have skyrocketed. Most notably, the $2,500 USD he put into NVDA is now up almost 1,900%. At the five year mark, he is wondering if it's time to rebalance and sell some of this NVDA shares or if he should continue to hold. He worries that all good things must come to an end and would appreciate your input, since it served him so well in 2020. If you have any other suggestions of growth stocks (or particular picks from your Growth Model Portfolio) he would also be interested. Thanks.

What is your take on TTD earnings? Market reaction after hours looks promising. Is the company back on track after last quarters miss? Perhaps last quarter was a 1 off? The stock is still a long ways from old highs...is this a buying opp? Or more of a hold still?

Q: TYD has dropped 54% ytd. Obvious negative momentum. Do you rate as buy hold or sell at this time?
In normal times I would expect you to say wait and see but we aren’t in normal time- what do you see going forward for those holding already? Is it worth waiting.

Q: Hi Team,
These Tariff moves have gone from "not a big concern" to a major concern with anyone holding a growth portfolio. Currently I am down 23% from peak in short order since January, due to a higher concentration in Tech names and other growth names. An amazing fall considering I thought I was holding all solid names (such as NVDA. PRL, SHOP, TTD as examples) Do you view this as 2022 all over again? Or do you think the market will bottom sooner than it did in that year? Hard to say I know based on Trump saying that he no longer cares much about the market this go around. A much different tune that last term. However I suppose that could change overnight. I don't imagine Musk in enjoying Tsla's fall; perhaps that will end up in a clash with Trump on trade policies or hopefully talk some sense into him at the very least. Looking for your take on the current situation. Lastly, I assume that since major damage is already done would I be best to just hold the line at this point? Or sell out some growth names even at current levels? If buying new purchases what would be your top 3 names to add to at current levels?

Q: Tradedesk was hammered after its earnings, and IAS saw a positive uptick after its earnings. What is the outlook for each company. I own both and thinking of consolidating the 2 holdings into one holding. What are your thoughts.

If I sell looking to allocate the funds to make Google and VHI full positions.

Q: TTD cratered and now keeps moving down. I didn't think earnings were THAT bad. Is this an overreaction or can you explain why the fall has been so harsh? Would you consider this a buying opportunity or is this a falling knife? Thanks!

The quarter has been quite a ride so far. Get a sniff of a miss or lower guidance and stocks drop faster than a toboggan coming down Mt Everest.

Do you have any recommendations that appear to be Buys if you don’t already have a position? Some examples are: DDOG, VRT, TTD, TMDX, SPSC, CELH, CLBT, ROAD, CECO, APPF, ASPN, POWL, (electrical grid suppliers), and any other intriguing opportunity? The purchases would be for a 3-5 year hold.

If feels like the tipping point for earnings for many companies has been reached. If a looming reporting date is like a 5-alarm fire warning to get ready to bail water and run for the hills, which sounds like… opportunity!

I'm curious about your thoughts on sentiment turning against US equities in the coming months. I'm already exhausted seeing all the foolish tweets and news clips coming out of the Trump administration and I have to believe many others are too. Trump 2.0 seems much worse than 1.0! Also, I've been hearing that European markets are already outpacing the US market so far this year and I'm wondering if the US market deserves its current valuation given the increased volatility and increased risks?

I own many US stocks (e.g., 5 of the Mag 7, COST, ISGR, HD, TT, SYK, RS, ZS, HON, V) and I'm thinking for the first time of selling/trimming some of these. I would look to increase my dividend-paying Canadian stocks to generate more income. I'm also thinking about European dividend payers?

I'd appreciate your general views along with any comments you might have related to selling/trimming some of the stocks I've mentioned above. I'd look to sell into the end of this month and buy favourite TSX dividend payers (e.g., ENB, SLF, CNQ, BEP.UN, BIP.UN, T) or others you might suggest after the next tariff decision in early March.

Like many members, I have to thank you again for the wonderful service you provide. Your Q&A section and market reviews are fabulous, especially during difficult times! I also realize this is a long question and the answers are worth more than one credit.

I'm looking for some non-tech growth CAD options. Can you please recommend and rank 5-10 options in order of their leadership and balance sheet?

I hold the following stocks in my TFSA with the indicating weightings within the TFSA. BN (17.5%), HPS.A (6.4%), LMN (18.6%), META (26.3%), SHOP (13.9%), TTD (16.9%). I am looking for advice for what stock I should add for my 2025 contribution. Could I please have your 3 "best" ideas to add to my TFSA ranked in order. I am looking for something solid with high potential (multi bagger potential) with solid management. Another NVDA would be nice (not asking to much here..lol).
