Q: Good morning, I have 32 positions spread between the two TFSA's that I manage. I'd like to get that down to 25. The above are holdings that have fallen to less than half positions and I'm wondering if you could suggest 6 or 7 for removal. Also are there any that you would add to in order to bring them up to half positions. Secondly, without knowing my weightings, do you have a suggested sector or two for this years TFSA contribution?

Q: Looking at historic gold/silver charts after economic shocks it seems gold/silver spikes are quite possible in the next few years. Which few companies would you pick to play that possibility?

Q: Fortitude Gold is a 2020 listing with a dividend, low P/E, and properties in the U.S. (i.e. as opposed to politically risky areas). Would you buy it? Which options in the gold space would you prefer? (Preferably low/no debt, strong B/S & dividend)
Thanks,

Q: I find inside buying is potentially worthwhile evidence of future prospects of a company. Just a hunch, but I am not sure inside buying or selling can tell me much about gold companies, especially not with the more established companies. Gold does seem quite out of favour, and so I think it would be worthwhile to park some of my idle cash (I am 25% cash, because I just am not finding too many bargains) in one or two large cap and small cap companies: The chart and divy of Yamana looks intriguing. Can you suggest any up and coming junior miners?

Q: Hi,

These stocks listed make up the core position of my Canadian and US holdings.

Would you consider this list to be a good one for a 3-5 year plus time horizon? I am able to tolerate high risk .

Thanks

Q: Hi,

I was sitting on a nice gain with DNG and because I am concerned about increasing political risk in Peru I decided to take the profit and sell. I would still like something in my portfolio that gives me exposure to gold. Preferably on the conservative side and with a dividend. What would your suggestions be?

Thanks

Q: With inflation comes higher interest rates.this should not be favorable for gold as it pays nothing to hold it.
Why do you suggest gold would be a good idea to own during inflationary times?
Mmx has been a laggard while the gold price is increasing, you have an idea why?
What is Sprotts position in MMX?Are they buyers, sellers?any insider activity that you see lately?
Does Mmx still have a position in Krr?value?
Is Mmx still one of your top ideas ,or you have other better suggestions?

Q: Hi,
I hold the above companies in my TFSA and would like to make the portfolio more concentrated for better upside potential. If you were forced to cut three positions and add the proceeds to any of the existing holdings, which one’s would you choose? Long term growth is the only objective.
Thanks
