Q: Hi 5i Team,

In your opinion, will there be more upside on gold and silver? If so, can you recommend few names that can be purchasing at today's price?

Q: Hello Peter,
While the god producers are leveraged to price of gold, it is also true that the market is forward looking and has driven the price up for the miners. So, is it gold miners or physical gold for now. Also, at this time which of MMX, KL, FNV, AEM provide the best bang for the buck. It would be great if you could rank them best first and perhaps I can take smaller positions in two; if the miners are still the way to go.

Q: Hi Peter
are you still comfortable with MMX Maverix Metals? It's price is about the same as when you put it into the growth portfolio, down about 25% from it's high.
I was thinking to purchase it or XGD.
This would be for a 2 year hold. XGD is going in the right direction so I am leaning toward it.
What is your opinion on these two stocks?

Q: I take note that in the reply to Maureen’s query on gold companies that MMX was omitted. Is there any reason for that other than size and risk. What is your view on MMX potential if gold rises during the massive QE effort going on. Do royalty companies have any extra leverage to the price of gold when it rises

Q: I have the following securities in what I consider a balanced portfolio. The fixed income portion doesn’t show here because it consists of OAS. CCP. Plus two other pensions.
I’m thinking of sell part position in MMX ( small loss);and ARE to realize a capital loss while at the same time raising some cash for the next pullback. I like TFII . We need to keep the food chain moving. Trucking an important part . The other is cargo jet. Am I on the right track . Your opinion. Or would you look elsewhere given the current holdings.

Q: I have about 45000 to invest and am considering setting up my own little Gold Etf ,perhaps of junior miners. This is for a Tax Free account. Does this sound like a reasonable plan and if so which companies would you recommend. I would prefer safe jurisdictions.
