Q: I have been holding STN for a number of years. It underperformed WSP in last 5 years by large margin, but started catching up in last 3 years. In recent stock market correction, STN dropped much less than WSP. STN is still above 200 day average while WSP is currently below 200 day average. Year to today WSP also underperformed STN. What is your view of STN and WSP going forward from here in terms of future growth? If just to own one name between them, which one would you pick? Alternatively, should I catch this opportunity to switch to WSP?

Thanks,

Q: I have these holdings in a TFSA shown in descending %. First four at 15% each. Next three at 10% each. Adding $7000. Any additions to what I have? Any new ones? I appreciate the %'s are personal choices ( Part of let the winners run camp). Would you advise trimming?
Have good day. Thanks.
Paul

With the US Congress passing the $1.2 Trillion Infrastructure bill last Friday evening, what sectors and Canadian stocks would you suggest might benefit the most going forward. Thanks

Q: Hi, I need to harvest realized gain of approx. $15000. I plan to repurchase the above funds after 30 days. Are there any that you would not sell at this point?
Or after the 3rd quarter results?
Thank you for your excellent service.

Q: How significant would it be for the Canadian lumber companies if the US removed the tariffs on lumber? Which stock would you recommend in such a scenario.

Q: Is there a Canadian Co. that might benefit from the proposed Infrastructure spending that U.S
President Biden is planning for the U.S.? Would this Co. have to be listed on both the Canadian & U.S. Exchanges? I want a stock that qualifies for the Canadian DTC. I find BIP.UN & BIPC a bit baffling. Last March, BIPC was created & I thought it was supposed to mirror BIP.UN but as of last Friday there was a $20 difference between the price of the two stocks. When I look into BIPC which I would prefer because of the DTC, most of its holdings are in Brazil & the U.K.
Thank you: Jerry

Q: I've held Stantec for 5 years and have had satisfactory performance at best. Obviously, with the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had purchased WSP Global instead or just swapped them in the past few years (based on your recommendation of WSP Global). Given the current valuations and performances of these businesses, do you think a move out of Stantec and into WSP Global in my TFSA at this time would make sense?

Q: It appears that in post Covid times, infrastructure money will be doled out to get the economy rolling again. It may be time to sell some tech or at least trim. I am currently over 40% in tech. It’s been great but I realize more diversification is important.
I know that you’ll recommend BAD and likely STN but what else may be on the horizon to consider? Thanks
Dennis

Q: As you can see by my holdings in my TFSA ,I have been following your advice. I am way up on KXS and am letting it run. Down on BNS, GUD, SIS and SLF. I have full position to add. I am looking at either REAL, LSPD , WELL or XIT.
Would you add to BNS or SLF or add one of the ones I am looking at? Long term view 20 years.
Thanks, Paul
