I successfully bailed on all tech stocks sometime ago and have been thinking about re-entering. How would you rate NVEI and LMN for long term growth? Would you start a position in either at this time?

Q: Good day I have some extra funds to invest on an unregistered account, and looking at the above firms. Other positions in this account are all the Brookfields, DOO, GSY, KXS, TFII, CSU LMN, TOI, BYD, and DSG. Would you add these 2 or some others?

Q: Hi 5i,
I don't know much about these names but am thinking about investing in one or both, so a few questions to get me started and please deduct as you see fit.
You were asked this morning if SHOP's entry into the POS arena would affect LSPD, and I have the same question, but with respect to NVEI - will SHOP be competing with NVEI in that area?
I think tech may be getting ready for a turn around. Do you think that conclusion is justified by the facts on the ground so far as they are known and, if so, are either or both of SHOP and NVEI likely to benefit given their current prices or, put another way, are they at good entry points?
Does it make sense to own both, or better to take the $$ that would be split between them and go all in on one? If so, which one?

Q: I may have missed a few, but pretty sure I've made every mistake trading in the stock market, although thanks to 5i I've done quite well over the years. Prehaps my biggest mistake is holding on to loosers too long and taking big hits. Recently I've promised myself to sell when I'm down 25%. So, I'm now down 25 or more % on these 4 companies but dont want to sell. What says you?

Q: I thought the Paya acquisition would have really gave this some momentum. US exposure for growth. Couldn't think of better news. I guess I'm wrong about this. What am I missing. Do you think this is a strong buy.

Q: I have owned this stock for a very long time but its share price is the same as it was 6 years ago and the dividend is small. I would appreciate your opinion of the future of this company. It is one of the first stocks I purchased and I accept there is an emotional attachment which could be clouding my judgement as I think I should sell it.
