Q: I have done well with Roku but I'm considering allocating elsewhere before my gains evaporate. What are the prospects for this company in the next 12-18 months?
Q: Hi : I recently sold my TD shares, I do not think there is anything wrong with TD, but I noticed that some stocks like TD are above the value they had before the pandemics hit. Noticed that beta for TD is 0.86. It is hard to believe that the economy is in better shape today than before the pandemics. I see quite a number of empty stores at my local mall. BCE has a beta of 0.31 with a good yield and a low price/cash flow ratio. Would you agree that BCE is safer than TD if the market has a correction ?, I am retired and safety and income are more important than growth . I have no exposure to telecoms now, and still some small exposure to banks through BNS. If BCE is not super safe , could you suggest another one ?

Q: Hi Guys
In a hypothetical $1 million portfolio, approximately how many different stocks or ETFs should be owned? Would a position represent 2% of the portfolio? Any comments on a portfolio's composition would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Q: Of the companies listed, which one would you start a new half position in today for a potential 5 plus year hold in a balanced portfolio. And would any in particular benefit from reopening? I understand that I would need to keep on eye on the cyclicals with a view to exiting if needed.
Q: Do you feel FDX stock has run it's course for the next 12-18 months. trying to decide if funds would be better allocated elsewhere?

Q: your opinion please and buy, sell or hold?
Q: The company has made a series of US acquisitions in the past 2 years which have attracted the attention of US investment community and it now lists on the NYSE. Comparable companies in the US trade at p/es of 20 while CI trades at under 7. I realize that p/e is only one measure of value but I would think that if the acquisitions prove successful then the company's shares may be re-rated to a higher multiple. In the meantime it pays a dividend of just under 4%.
Q: Do you think PYPL or Visa has a stronger outlook for the next 12-18 months?

Q: It looks like 5I likes Brookfield Renewable and since 2012 the stock has been fairly steady. There has been a nice price pullback (for those not already owning stock) but a few numbers in the annual reports are confusing. Specifically Net income (loss) attributable to Unitholders has been very low or negative for a few years.
Any thoughts on this Net Income comment and overall you current thoughts based on the price pullback?

Q: Dorel was recently a planned privatization but this was rejected by shareholders and now the stock trades well below the offer price. Is now a good time to buy shares?
Q: Considering how Trudeau and Freehand are cranking up our deficit what are thoughts longer term thoughts on the direction of the loonie?. I’m guessing that with the strength in oil lately our dollar does rise but when does debt override the price of oil? I am leaning more and more towards the world’s reserve currency because of the current “green leaning” government but the recent loonie strength gives me reservations.
Your thoughts please.
Thanks for your great work!
Bob
