Q: What do you think of a 5-year ladder of RBC Target Date bond ETF’s (RQG through RQK) for the fixed income component of Canadian RRSP’s and RRIF’s?

Also, for a $US RRSP or RRIF I am considering Invesco Senior Loan ETF (BKLN) and Highland/iBoxx Senior Load ETF (SNLN). I am aware that the NAV of these funds can be volatile, and that they may be considered somewhere between corporate bonds and high-yield bonds on the risk spectrum, but I would be buying them for the yield.

Q: There were rumours about Cineplex potentially being acquired. Is there any news or updates on this?

Q: Hi there, is today’s sell off in Shopify merely profit taking or do you think there is something else going on? I’m sure it’s an easy target for profit taking but I have read more and more reports saying the valuation is far too stretched. Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Q: AGN has received a $188.24/s stock+cash offer from ABBV, yet (pre-market) its shares aren't breaking above $173. In this sort of situation, isn't it more typical for the share price to overshoot the offer (given the chance of another bid)? Or is the market doubtful that any deal will be completed?

What type of stocks should be put in a tfsa compared to a cash account. Should it be all growth stocks with no dividend or all dividend paying stocks or a combo of both in a tfsa.
