Q: Can I have your thoughts in putting some TFSA money into MKP, for a couple years, thinking it might be a place to invest while the world figures out where things are going. It pays good dividends, and lower interest rates, with increased construction, should provide some stability. Or, please suggest an alternative idea. Thank you

Q: I would like your thoughts on MCan Financial today. Their results were good, but are they worth the jump today? They sold shares earlier in the year which got me nervous, but it seems like they are delivering.

Q: A number of years ago I held Timbercreek, and got the nice dividend plus some minor capital gains before selling. I am now looking at it again - or something similar like FN or MKP. Could you comment on the outlook for the mortgage companies in general in the current environment (assuming rates continue to go down), and also if we should enter a recession. Would you buy one of these companies today, with income the primary objective, and how (and why) would you rank these 3? Is there a better option in this category?
Thank-you
