Q: Would you consider BTCX.B:CA a good way to invest in Bitcoin. What’s your overall opinion of
Bitcoin and is it worth speculating a small portion
of one’s portfolio?
Q: ADN value is dropping, you still include it in your income fund at a B rating. In the last question asked abut ADN last month, you raised concerns about performance and a dividend cut, is there a chance you will be lowering the ratings or removing from your portfolio
Q: As a holder of EMX.CA do I have to pay capital gains tax on its merger/takeover by ELE? If so what is the purchase price that I must record? If not, what is the merger/takeover price of the received ELE stock? Thank you.
Q: While Nvidia results look good, a Globe and Mail article about the results quoted two commentators who suggest that current AI spending is "unsustainable". Can you comment on the sustainability of AI spending? Thanks.

Q: I'm looking at adding a dividend-paying company in the financial sector, which is not one of the traditional banks. Which of these two businesses might you suggest has a better chance to outperform the market, over the longterm?
Q: It’s seems that the stock is enjoying its marked rise at this time , Is it due to possible merge or a buy from other company? It’s apparently much above its book value and by itself its future growth will not be marked. Is it indeed overvalued and could be sold ? The dividend is good so it could be kept as a dividend payer as one wait for buyout or a merger. What is your opinion on thei stock at this time ?
Thank you ,
Miroslaw
Q: Hello. In the MEG takeover by CVE, I opted for all shares, but received 96% shares and 4% cash because it was over subscribed. In my TD statement, the "book cost" of my new CVE shares reflects the price of the recent transaction, not my original cost of the MEG shares. Will I need to pay capital gains on the shares? As I researched the issue, some sites say the transaction is a "deemed disposition", and I will need to pay capital gains on the shares and cash, and other sites say I can use the "Section 85 rollover" provision to delay capital gains on the shares. Your insight is appreciated.
Q: I have a book cost of $10,600 for my 600 parkland shares.
I received $11,880 in cash and 177 Sunoco shares ( book value $ 12700. } For tax purposes is it all taxable ? I.E. 24,580 .
The Sunoco shares have been put into the Canadian side of my account,so I assume the transaction is all in Canadian dollars. Is that correct? Thank you for your help.

Q: I am considering selling CSU and LMN to realize tax losses and then buy them back after 30 days. Do you see much risk in these companies gaining significantly in 30 days? Thank you
Q: Goldman shows currently that CTA's will dump stocks in every scenario (market up or down) over the next month, including total sales over $75 billion. This number is large versus average. Is this a meaningful indicator that you watch, or just another "worry"? I guess it is mainly an indicator of flow.
Q: Japan's 20Y has spiked to 2.75%, marking a historic shift. I tead this could trigger short-term volatility in risk assets. Do you act on this? For example my bond portfolio contains some ETFs with 10y and 20y durations. Should I move more to shorter duration? On equities higher risk assets are more vilnerable? How big of deal is this looking forward, or just another "worry"?
Q: Hi 5i Team - I am having some difficulty deciding whether to sell or hold onto my shares of Propel. Could you summarize the reasons for its decline as well as the potential for recovery over both the next year and longer term. Do you have confidence in the ability of management to do this. There are certainly many developing opportunities in other companies to use the money if I were to sell. Thanks.
