Q: After recent news/earnings and along the thinking that AI will not completely replace SAAS but work along side it and even provide positive tailwinds, do you think its time to rotate a bit more from hardware to software or proceed with caution still? I hold CLS, NVDA, NBIS, VRT in hardware and CSU,LMN,TOI,SPOT, SHOP,CRWD,BKNG,TRI in software. Also own GOOG. I'm trying to find the right balance. If we look at SOXX/IGV, are we going to see mean reversion back to the mean?

Also what part of the market or credit cycle do you think we are in? Mid to late cycle? Should we be more defensive or still slowly adding to growth names? Thanks!

Q: Would you be a buyer of either name after their good results today? Have a small position in SPOT already but none currently in RACE. I did have RACE before but sold back in Dec. Would you consider these good long term growth stocks and which would you choose if you had to pick one for long term growth or would you have positions in both? Thanks!

Q: Sorry to sound like a broken record, but I'm kind of a deer stuck in headlights right now with regards to these software names, notably CUS, LMN, TOI, and with the news impacting TRI this morning. I've largely held onto these names and I'm not sure what to do here. Seeing constant and relentless daily selling is tough to stomach and time will only tell how much AI will impact these companies fundamentals.

In the meantime, what do I do? I don't want to hold onto losers and continue to see these go down further, at the same time, I don't want to sell at these lows. I know trimming some is an option. I have positions in these other names, do you feel any of these are vulnerable to AI severely impacting them? CRWD, SHOP, SRAD, GENI, SPOT

Thanks!

Q: I remember many years ago, when I had just started looking after my own investments. I made many mistakes and even ended up with a few "smoking holes in the ground". I have now been a long term subscriber to 5i and have enjoyed much success as a result of the teams sage advice. Than you for helping me separate the Wheat from the chaff.

As a retired high school teacher I remember way back, prior to alphabet (google's) IPO, seeing their logo on every computer in the classroom when students booted them up, and thinking, " I wonder if they would ever IPO?" Well, of course they did, and upon seeing that I would need to pay a 17% premium as a retail investor (no matter how quickly you acted the morning of the IPO) I passed on the stock until years later. I am a happy shareholder currently.

My question is, are there any pre IPO companies that you are currently excited about, and if so, how can a retail investor have the best chance of getting in on an IPO other than waiting until it trades publicly? Anthropic? others?

Thank you

Q: Markets are acting pretty badly with most of AI in retreat. Even growth names like NFLX and SpOT are very weak. What would you recommend for investors who have a medium risk tolerance. Sign me Concerned

Q: Lately, these 3 stocks have performed well (exceptionally well). Sometimes it is said, "let your winners run" or "don't be afraid of new highs", however I wonder if they are becoming overvalued or extended beyond what is appropriate. Do you think P/Es of AXON @ 199; SPOT @ 129; or NFLX @ 63 show they are overvalued and it is time to sell? If you think otherwise please explain why they continue good investments and should continue to be held. Many thanks for your excellent service.

Q: Many stocks are at or close to all time highs, particularly these. Do you see any of these having strong forward momentum from here? Could you give me entry prices for these 6 stocks please. Across all sectors, is there any other Companies you see as having stronger for upward momentum from todays prices? Thanks!

Q: Hi Peter,

Can I get you to compare Chapters Group AG to Pinetree Capital. Both are small cap holding companies. Do you see a lot of similarities between the two and would they be comparable. Both have had good runs.

I appreciate your views.

Thanks

Q: Hello 5i Team

My understanding is the merger / share consolidation between Liberty Media and Sirius (old) in now complete.

From the September 10 news release I understand the new dividend will be approximately US$0.27 per quarter.

Questions:

1 - When will Siri report quarterly earnings?

2 - Is SIRI a reasonable investment (dividend investor seeking some growth).

3 - What are some of the relevant financial metrics to look at for this stock. I am hesitant to look at "old" metrics as there has been significant financial changes from the merger and share consolidation.

Thanks

Q: Out of these 4, what two would you sell today and why (I know they are very different)? If you could include a comment on valuation please do.

Also, how does that answer change if we were to enter a recession?
