Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I know I am way behind but I have just been reading about how autonomous-EV are going to be a hugh disrupter...I guess it is called TaaS. Does your Growth Portfolio have any exposer to this phenomena? If not do you have any suggestion of stocks that still have reasonable upside with this innovation. Thanks!
Q: I currentl y hold a significant position in Cameco. Some of my reading suggests that CCO has very bad hedging for the next few years that will substiantly, negatively impact earnings.
Would you please shed some light on their current hedging and its impact on their bottom line?
With appreciation,
Ed
Q: Hi, Do you think NVDA is too high to start a long term position 5+ years? I am late to this.. I used to have this in my margin account but had to sell it to raise cash a while ago. Now I want to buy in my RRSP..Thanks.
Q: This stock has been beaten down a lot this year, especially in the last couple of days. Do you think it's a good time to start a position? Would be a small portion of port and long time horizon.
Q: I think Brookfield Asset Management is a great company to invest in for the long term. I'm debating whether to acquire more BAM in CDN or USD but wanting to better understand the USD option. Can you help me understand the pros and cons of holding BAM:US in a USD TFSA vs. a USD RSP vs. a USD non-registered account? Thanks very much, your answers are always really helpful.

Not sure what to do with MRS...hold or sell. I am a patient investor. Please give your current view. Do they have any earning potential in this environment? Fair to give them a couple more quarters? Thanks, your views and info is always valuable.
Q: You are probably going to be bombarded with questions re ECN in the next few days. Here is mine. According to the information circular , of the $7.50 payout, $4.15 is a return of capital and $3.35 a special dividend. In my non-registered account, if I paid $3.00 per share does that translate that my cost per share is zero?
Thanks
Follow up to Earls question (Thanks Earl), but for a non-registered account.
If I buy ECN now at $11. Once I get the $7.50 dividend, say the stock drops by $7.50. Wouldn't it result in a capital loss of $7.50 a share (if I sell it) that I can offset against capital gains? Sounds like it would be smart thing to do. Is this correct or am I missing something?
Q: I am looking at taking a position in each of the above. Can you provide your view and future outlook for these high growth potential companies. Would you be buyers at their current beat up price?

Q: This stock has performed well over time but in mid May there was a significant drop in price but recovered then recently another significant drop. I know they are experiencing cost issues and ask if this stock will recover or continue to suffered significant stock price reductions? Is this still a long term hold?
