I currently have a greater than full position in CP and have been hesitant to trim it back given how well the stock has been doing. However, I'm concerned about how the situation with Nafta will affect the stock. Can you provide insight into how you think this or any other factors might impact the stock price in the near and long term? Many thanks!

Q: Hi, could you p,ease provide your thoughts on China’s rhetoric about possibly slowing or stopping purchases of US treasury bonds. Is this a real concern or more a veiled threat ahead of US trade negotiations? Thanks.
Q: My question from yesterday must be lost due to time out. Hardwood Distribution is off its 52 weeks highs, due to soft results, last quarter and possible short term impact on its China imports (11%) of its sales as a result of 200% anti-dumping import levy. Company's last NR did say that it has been positioning for past 12 months to replace the sources. I am planning to take a small position in the company to gain a stable name exposure to residential construction sector ( with large US exposure). HWD also has a solid dividend record. What are your thoughts on the company and its current valuation ? Thanks
Q: Hello 5i, I have nice gains on both of AAR.un and TD, is there a chance for a better offer for AAR.un ?
Would you sell TD and if I want switch to another bank, which one would you commend?
Many thanks, J.A. P. Burlington
Q: If Nafta gets ripped up, the auto industry in North America stands to be severely disrupted. In the short term I expect many will get hurt. I'm thinking I should be proactive and sell-off Magna now while it is still near its top. But what to replace it with? Does TB (Toronto Dominion BanK) stand to show a major growth spurt once its new AI acquisition is in place and providing heretofor unavilable information on its clients? I hope your 2018 is as good as 2017 was.

Q: Currently we have 2 TFSA's which I am trying to design for maximum growth. The holdings are as follows:
1-ZLB,HXS,GUD,OTEX,PTG,SIS
2-ZLB,HXS,ITC,KXS,SHOP,TOY.
Please suggest on both of the portfolios (treating them as one) which stocks should be sold, and what should be purchased to replace them. I want the TFSA to act as the supercharger to my overall holdings.
Q: Is this a good time to buy CSU or should I wait?
And CXI, I am down 25% and waiting! Should I sell?

Q: Hi Peter,
Any idea why Covalon is not trading today based on yahoo and google stock listings? Also, is there a specific reason for Canopy to be surging so high today as I have not seen any new news release to account for such a spike? Thanks and again appreciate the input.
Q: Would you comment on the risk versus reward if one were to make a small investment in this company ? Do you have an alternate suggestion for a speculative investment in an innovative technology company with momentum or popular timing ?
Q: Dear Team,
Best wishes for another successful year of trading in 2018!
