Q: A few years ago I owned shares in Solar City. I could not find the stock symbol
on globe investor gold today. Does the company still exist? Also, what is your
view of the electric car industry and what stocks are worth looking at at this time?

Q: With Jony Ive and his design skills and Steve Jobs with his visionary skills gone and apple transitioning to a service company do you think the price and the p/e of this company going forward are justified or should it be considered on shaky ground now.

Q: On june 27 a question was asked about renewable energy etf's. I have been a bit worried about straight oil and gas stocks, myself, and have been thinking about slowly shifting towards renewable energy. You offered several possibilities at the time. I was wondering which ones you would recommend amongst those:
ETFs (MER): QCLN 0.6% (US), ICLN 0.47% (Global), PBW 0.7% (Global), PBD 0.75% (Global)

I have US dollars so will be buying on the US side.

I currently own PHN Bond Fund (RBF1110), PHN High Yield Bond Fund (RBF1280) and GICs in my RRSP for the fixed income portion of my portfolio
Would adding a convertible debenture ETF complement the PHN High Yield Bond Fund (RBF1280) or would it be a duplication? The convertible debentures would not exceed 5 % of the total fixed income in the RRSP.
Are there any other Canadian convertible debenture ETFs other than CVD and CXF. Of the two ETFs mentioned, which is your preference?
Is it better to use an ETF for convertible debentures or should I purchase individual company debentures.
Where can I obtain the credit ratings (Moodys/S&P/DBRS) for individual company's convertible debentures.

Looking at your list of payout ratios, I noticed a 210.13 % payout ratio for Arc resources.
The actual payout ratio dividends + debt is 29%.

Q: Hi, Could you please put together a few reasons why the stock has pulled back from recent $45 level and now gravitating back towards 52 week lows of $35 - $37. In all your comments, you have all the positives to say about the company and suggested that Toys r'us bankruptcy issues are temporary and amazon being no threat to the company. However, market does not appear to think so. Someone on the BNN also mentioned that Hatchimals are also not selling well. During past 2 years, stock has been lagging from a high of $59 to a low of $35. Expectations of future growth and patience has not exactly helped and some of 5i favorites like, TSGI,TCL.a,SIS continue to test new lows. The point is, captital is not infinite and tough decisions to sell, without waiting too long may provide an opportunity to reallocate capital to 5i names with more clarity and positive momentum. This strategy helped when we liquidated full position in TSGI and 65% each in TCL.a and SIS, over time and used funds for LSPD, RPI.un etc. Does this sound like a fair approach ? With this perspective, is it worthwhile to hold on to TOY while market is saying otherwise ? Thanks
