Q: I hold ROP HEI WSP ATS TFII AXON VRT in the industrial sector. 5i has also recommended TT TDG RTX and URI. I would like to sort out which could be sold [in whole or in part] and which could be added to. For a long-term hold, which could go and which would you advise to be the core for this sector.
Thanks
Q: Hi I have my RRSP distributed at around 8% or 12% on these stocks, would you change anything , I'm heading to retirement in 7 months from now and like to know if you would recommend any modification. I can sustain drops of 10% , which I handle by doing nothing.
Thank you 5i, you have been good to me!!!
Q: The two least profitable stocks in my entire portfolio are SIS (up an anemic 6% after two years) and PBH (up 10% in the same time period). I'd like to replace both with something growthier - but here's the catch - I want similar dividends (+/- 1%) and I want Canadian replacements in the same sector. My only other Consumer Defensive is COST. Current industrials are WSP, HPS.A, J, and TFII. I would welcome your speculation on how SIS and PBH are likely to grow this year...and what potential replacements might be. Thank you.
Q: Hello, I need to reduce my financials and beef up my industrials and materials. I own TD, RY and SLF, and will trim reluctantly as they have all done well for me over the years. I already have TFII, ATS, and NTR. What would you suggest for Industrials and materials. Add to existing or add new companies? As a retired sort, I prefer Canadian stocks eligible for the Dividend Tax Credit but iI am underweight the US so f you have much better US suggestions please advise.
Many thanks
Q: Looking for investment ideas/opportunities for my TSFA account which already holds the following ( BAM, BN, GSY, LMN, NVEI, TOI, LIT:US). I am 68 years and have no plans to withdraw from the account for the next few years. Also, could you please suggest entry price points for said securities.
Much appreciated,
Francisco
Q: Nice acquisition today by TFII and a good move in the stock. TFII seems to have perfected the art of the acquisition and integrating into operations. I believe TFII is the largest trucking company in Canada. How do they rate compared to US firms? Is there a possibility that TFII might be in the sights of a big US firm? Could they be on the receiving end of takeover bid?
Q: No rush to answer
My intent is to use from my investment account into my TFSA either one of the following TFII or GSY.
Which one of these two would you transfer to a TFSA or would you use a combination of both?
Thks
Marcel
Q: A follow up question on the previous answers on TFII acquisition of Daeske.
Does 5i feel like TFII did a good job of integrating the previous acquisition and therefore do we have confidence in there ability to integrate this larger one?
I'm concerned about the premium paid here and how much Goodwill is included and if we feel like TFII did a good job of closing the gap on the Goodwill of their previous acquisitions?
Q: From this list of companies could any be a take over target in the next five years using your crystall ball
