Q: 5i’s opinion of XST for a 5-yr hold in RESP?
I see its 5yr & 10yr returns are 10% & 12%, its 3 largest holdings (ATD, Loblaws, MRU) total about 60% of the fund, and it has 11 holdings.
I would basically purchase for diversification as opposed to buying the main holdings individually and paying commissions. Thank you.

Q: I hold BAM as an income stock and also CAR.UN, both in a TFSA. Going forward, I am considering combining them into either BAM or CAR.UN. (And I also hold DIR.UN, a larger position than CAR.UN). I know 5iR likes diversification, however the family has a home and a cottage. If I combine them, what would you suggest as the one to hold, BAM or CAR.UN??? .....Thanks....Tom

Q: Hello 5i team,
I am curious about your thoughts on Premium brand holdings (PBH). I entered a position around $86 and the stock has gone down in the past 2 years from a high of $110. I was wondering if you are still confident in the company? The BE portfolio entered at ~$56.

I think this is a slow growth company organically, do you stay with a holding as long as it is well above the entry point or is there a point were you may say that a company has run out of room and is time to exit?

Q: Aside from LLY and NVO, what other healthcare companies might enjoy success with weight loss drugs or products related to them? I’ve heard good things about ABT., AMGN, PFE, AZN, RHHBY and others in this regard, but I was wondering how you might rank them and/or others (most promising names first). I’m quite interested in Roche which has been showing strength after a long period of weakness (it’s now $35.69 as of Friday July 12).
