Q: Hi Peter,
I couldn't find any news to account for the 70% pop today on high volume so I sold half my shares.
I would appreciate your view of this company and its prospects going forward.
Thanks for your great service,
David

Cargojet Inc - Ordinary Shares and Variable Voting Shares (CJT.A)
Q: What are your thoughts on the impact of Air Canada’s recent announcement that they are pursuing the cargo market. What is the impact on Cargojet? Will this result in a significant impact on margins? Would you sell Cargojet as a result of the stiffer competition? Are you still concerned of the debt levels in Cargojet? Thanks for your expertise.
Q: Iiroc stopped trading yesterday. Looking back at the release it names the stock Mene.WT and it trades on V.
Does the WT stand for warrant ? If so I don’t recall ever seeing this, please clarify.
Also on their Q3 results they have reported their first quarterly operating income, after going public less than 3 years ago. Is this significant, and would you buy the stock ?
Thanks for your help.

Q: Do you endorse a tax-loss sale for these three stocks, DXCM, REAL, VHI with the intention to buy back after 30 days? Are there any that you wouldn't buy back and instead use the proceeds on another high growth name such as NVDA, U, GOOS, PINS, MGNI? Sector weighting is not a concern and risk tolerance is high. Thanks.
Q: What grade would you like to give based on the performance since last report(2016)?
Q: What 5iR portfolio would you classify ENGH to, like balance or growth?....and what risk rating would you give ENGH, like 1 for low and ranging to 5 for high?...thanks

Q: I purchased a convertible bond from Just Energy a few years back that they recently "force converted" to equity because they couldn't pay the interest on the bond anymore from what I can tell. This thing has been a disaster. Is their business viable anymore?

Q: Hi guys,
I'm looking for potential opportunities in the energy space where the line between clean and fossil, as well as energy vs utilities seems to blur more and more. Also there seems to be increasing suggestion that big oil is interest to move into this space with investment and engineering capital.
Are these corporations good opportunities and if so do they look to be positioned as underpriced for growth relative to the current frothy players like npi and bep?

Q: What do you make of the failed financing that GSI just spent the last month working on?
The thing that leaves the worst impression to me is that they had a deadline to close by Dec. 1, and I doubt that talks broke down this afternoon - I am sure they knew for awhile if this would / wouldn't close. If they knew that they weren't going to meet the Dec. 1 deadline why wouldn't they announce it sooner?

Q: With the possibility of the capital gains exemption being reduced or maybe even eliminated I am considering selling a few high growth stocks in my non-registered account and buying them back the same day in a TFSA where I still have quite a bit of room to contribute. First of all is this allowable under the Revenue Canada taxation rules. Secondly could you comment on whether this is a reasonable strategy to follow. And thirdly how likely do you think the capital gains exemption will be reduced or eliminated over the next year or so. Thank you.
