Q: I have held STN for almost 10 years and it has recently showed some good growth. I am considering selling STN and purchasing WSP. Which company do you expect to perform better in the next 5 to 10 years and why?

Q: Can Constellation Software be considered the "Microsoft of Canada"?
Like MSFT, can CSU still reach new highs by acquiring better software companies to it constellation?

Q: Hi Everyone at 5i!!!! I recently purchase APPS and am now down 42.3%. Ouch! I am usually a buy and hold type of gal, but this was quite a drop over a short period of time. Is it just the rotation out of the tech sector or is there something wrong with the company? Would it be prudent to take a loss to offset another gain, and buy back at a later date?? January say...
Thank you for all your wisdom!! Tamara

Q: Hi
I am currently holding RRSP/TFSA/Non registered accounts with Weathsimple (Both US/CA stocks) and trying move all US stocks to Questrade within same account. So that I can buy and sell US stocks in Questrade and keep CA stocks in Weathsimple. Do do see any issue with this move and any tax implication? I am not planing to withdraw the funds. Just transferring only.

Q: Thank you for your recent tax loss opportunities list. I have been interested in Well for some time and am considering for just such an opportunity. I have also been looking closely at cloudMD. It looks like Well is forecasted to become profitable before cloudMD but the latter remains a compelling opportunity having dropped in price further with an excellent balance sheet and forecast earnings. Which security do you prefer and why
Q: I see several analysts estimates targeting PKI in the $50 range, implying about a 50% upside. Does this seem at all reasonable to you?? Thanks Jim
Q: Long time holder of NPI, wondering what your thoughts would be on a switch to BEP.UN. The fact it is one of the few stocks you have rated as an 'A' is a huge vote of confidence, as well as being a Brookfield company, more diversified, larger market cap, slightly higher yield.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Q: What do you think of this conglomerate ? Revenues of 302 billion. Its in iron ore which should go down next year Its in fertilizers and there seems to be a shortage coming. In metals like copper and nickel and there will be a global demand in coming years. Its got a p/e of 4.04 and a future p/e of 3.0 and yet it pays out a 20.2 % div. How long has it been paying such a div. and do you think this will continue ?
Q: Hi, we need to increase the percentage weight of Telcos, in our portfolio, for low volatility dividend producers, in order to supplement retirement income. Presently, BCE is 3.5% and T 1.75% weights. We also have FTS and AQN. Do you have any preference between BCE and T and why ? What would be an attractive entry point for the two stocks as seem to be trading at all time highs. Thanks

Q: Third quarter Earnings report released by DOCU on Dec 02 shows an EPS of plus ( +) 0.58$/share. Whereas most of the stock reports by analysts including Scotia Bank and Thomson Reuters show the same as minus (-) 0.58$/share. The mean street expectations were +0.46$/share. You too have mentioned in your comments on the earnings that EPS for the quarter exceeded the expectations by 26 %. Can you please explain which one is true ? Many thanks for your advices.

Q: Hi, is it a good time to add to CDN banks, with expectation of higher rates and trend for returning capital to shareholders. If so, which ones will you consider as winners, over next several years ? Could you rate them, in order of priority ? in the same token, do you have a particular view on CIBC as the dividend yield and P/E ratio seem to be most attractive in the group ? Thank You
Q: I have been looking at HCAL, for the dividends. I not sure I understand the Non-Cash distribution. They are showing a non-cash distribution in the amount of $2.324 payable in December. They state the distribution will not be paid in cash but will automatically reinvested in additional units of the ETF and immediately consolidated so the number of units held by the unitholder and the net asset value of the ETF, will not change. So, what does change, with the non cash distribution?

Also, I currently hold TT, and was wondering which other growth industrial US stock would be a good addition for an RSP? Top 3 picks in order please
Lastly, please rank HD, COSTCO and WMT
Thanks so much

Q: Which one would you choose: fortis or capital power
Q: Do you consider Constellation Software to act like a “tech stock” if interest rates rise, ie. would it have much of a valuation contraction compared to other tech? It seems to have a different business model than most tech companies, and I am wondering if it is safer in a sense.
Q: Is FSZ buyable here? Txs for u usual great services & views
Q: Hi Peter, why does the fear of higher rates cause stocks to decline ? Thanks.
Q: Hello -
I understand the attractiveness of TOI stock - the management, the CSU model, growth projections, etc. However, I can't understand the current valuation. Even after the recent pullback to $108 (at time of writing), has the company's fortunes really increased by 72% within the last 10 months to reflect the increase to today's price compared to the beginning of Feb. last year? I realize stock price / fundamentals don't follow exactly in parallel, but that is quite an increase.
My other related question is on the sector itself. There just seems to be so many software companies out there. Is there an ever increasing need for software in the world to today that matches the increasing number of companies that offer it? In the U.S. there is a history of 3000 automobile companies at one time or the another. Only a tiny fraction exist today. I know this is an apples / oranges comparison industry-wise, but hopefully you understand my concern.
Thanks for your comments.
