Q: Over the last 10-20 years, I have found that I have done the best buying and holding several smallish, but established companies that seem to have good long term growth prospects. Have made very large gains by holding stocks like CSU, BYD, PBH, WSP and GSY for 5, 10 or more years. I am trying to identify which smallish but established companies might be the best candidates to produce some very significant gains over the next 10+ years. Would you please rank the following in order according to which you think are the most likely to generate some very significant gains over that time frame. I hold the majority of these, but not in large positions, and there are a few I do not currently hold. Also, if you have another 2 or 3 companies that you think would fit this strategy, could you indicate which ones and where they would rank in the list. I'm not worried about sector, as my portfolio is well diversified, and I am tolerant of risk. Take how ever many credits you feel this question is worth. Thank you.
ABT, DOO, ECN, ENGH, GDI, GOOS, LSPD, PEO, REAL, SIS, TCS

Q: Please rank these stocks. Are they at a level that they could be bought today. For your highest ranked stock, why do you rank it higher than the others

Q: In the past you have noted that CSU is one of the best managed companies in Canada and there can be no argument there. Are they getting tired? In round terms CSU is up 20% in the past 1 year while ENGH is up 100%. Is it time for me to get off the CSU horse which has served me well. What would be your recommended replacement if yes please? Q: I am a bit overweight on pipelines and think I should sell some Enbridge or Pembina and beef up a couple of my smaller tech holdings since we are a bit underweight on that right now. I already own enough CSU, KXS and OTEX but only partial positions of Enghouse and Descartes. We have bought and sold SHOP several times over the past year, making some good money so have treated it more like a trading stock and don't currently own it. Would you agree with buying more Enghouse and Descartes for the long term at this time or would you recommend something else?

Q: Hello, I have a small position in above 4 companies and would like to accumulate to ~ 5% on a market pull back. DSG, ENGH, KXS, OTEX
In terms of : PEG and P/E ratios, management, earnings growth , revenue going forward: say from 2019 to 2021E, and in the current work from home, e-commerce, cloud infrastructure, which one(s) offers the best return?
Also, could you comment on what these companies do? who do they help? small or large enterprises?
Thanks for all your help.

Q: I have these 7 stocks, they comprise about 30% of the equities I own, in part because the their stellar performance in recent months. Two parts to my question: first, though they are all categorized as "tech" ( well, maybe not Goog), I am trying to get a sense of how different they might be from each other so that 30% is better diversified than the label they fall under might suggest? Can you briefly describe the underlying businesses of the 3 Cdn ones and indicate if you see all 7 as diversified. Second, if the stock market should hit another significant pull back (like March or otherwise), would these 7 be resilient enough to avoid major losses, and are some better than others in this regard? Thank you for your excellent service.

Q: Hi guys!

I’m here holding knight at an average cost of $7.20. It hasn’t done much and from reading your responses on their earnings, you seem less than impressed. I’m pissed at myself because I went value instead of growth (at least I hold constellation). I’m wondering with all else being equal (taxes, asset allocation, etc.) would you simply sell knight and jump onto the fast moving momentum Canadian tech names or would you stick with knight?
