Q: In March of 2022, you were asked about NovaGold (NG) and wrote: “…we do not like these 'binary' scenarios. Without full permitting, there is no mine, and no potential.” In March of 2023, you recommended it along with a few other juniors. Could you please share your updated thoughts about this company? Q: Teck is starting to drift downwards again, including a big drop today. Don’t see any news. Any reason you can see for the drifting down? Just fading confidence that an acquisition is going to happen? Seemed like there may be new/different offers on the acquisition the horizon a few weeks ago, has that changed? Would you recommend holding on in anticipation of acquisition offers coming in again? Not in a rush to sell, but don’t want to hold on if pricing is going to continue to move down to pre-acquisition offer levels.

Q: Maple Leaf Foods has been range bound for 7 years, maybe even top left to bottom right in trend. They've announced a significant share buy back authorization. Not sure whether they will execute on this. You have been fairly neutral on MFI . Any thoughts on whether this or any other recent news will change your thinking on this stock

Q: Good morning,
May I have 5is opinion (pros and cons) regarding the following please.
I have just rolled my RSP into a RIF and am thinking of selling AQN and SPB and consolidating into ZWU. My thinking is that this will in a simpler more stable way of provide equal to better performance (income with some growth) over time. Do my thoughts have merit? I also hold BEP.UN as well as FTS.

We have EPD and GIC's in our income side of RRSP's. We have room for a another stock at a 1/2 position. What are your thoughts on BTI with an 8.52% dividend? Do you have another stock as a preference?
