Q: I have held this stock for low volatility, a little growth and a steady income. However its performance in the last 12 months has been dreadful. Is is just poorly managed or is there some other fundamental problem with the company?
Do you think there is much of a possibility it could be bought out by its major shareholder?

Q: Could you comment on the relatively new option-based US treasury ETFs HBND and HPYT. The yields have caught my attention, together with the underlying security of US treasuries and the possibility (?) that rates have peaked. Do you see these as being suitable up to around a 1.5% position in an RSP, and is there US tax withholding on the distribution in an RSP? How do these compare to TLTW (I would prefer to buy a CDN$ ETF rather than take the hit on conversion) Do you have a preference, and would you buy today? Note that I already hold about a 2.5% position in ZLC, which is up marginally.
Thank-you

Q: Could you please clarify how CDIC insurance works. If I invest at CIBC Investor’s Edge and in my non-registered account, I have 1) $100,000 in cash, 2) $100,000 in an RBC HISA, and 3) $100,000 in a third party GIC (say Versabank), are each insured for $100,000 as they are with different institutions? Or are they insured collectively for $100,000, meaning $200,000 is not insured, since they are all held at CIBC Investor’s Edge? Thank you.

Q: Hi team,
How big of a deal is it that nvei is partnering with Microsoft for payments? Partnering with a mega cap like Microsoft seems almost game changing for a small cap name like nvei. This being said it is perplexing that nvei keeps scoring global deals with big names and yet its numbers don’t reflect the profitability one would almost expect . Your take on the name going forward would be much appreciated, and the potential that now exists being partnered with Microsoft .

Thanks ,
Shane

Q: Hi

I presently own XEH.

Thinking of selling XEH and replacing it with FCIV because of the pacific exposure and possible greater growth.

Your comments or other suggestions are always most welcome.

Thank you

Mike
