Q: Hello,
I was lucky enough to invest in NVIDIA 3-4 years ago but it has grown to around 15% of my portfolio. I’m considering trimming it to 6-7%. I want to replace with other companies in the tech sector, which ones would you recommend for a 10+ year hold? My only other tech holding is Kinaxis.
Thank you for your help.

Q: Hi,
I read an article called “The World Relies on One Chip Maker in Taiwan, Leaving Everyone Vulnerable” that appeared on the WSJ.

Apart from TDM, NVDA & INTEL, are there any others names in the industry that you could share or recommend?

Thanks,

Q: When does the deal close? By when do you think better bids could appear?
(to replace PHO - what do you suggest?)
Also what semi play do you like? Do you like the manufacturers? Do you have a prefered play there?

Thanks
Mark

Q: On CNBC on Friday Tom Lee disclosed these 20 as his "Epicentre Stock Portfolio" and opined that the bottom is in. He seems to be quite revered and apparently his calls have been more correct than not. Could you list your best seven from this list that you would buy today in order. Any other comment of course welcomed as well - Ken

Q: Currently I own all of these semi conductor related companies in my taxable account. QCOM, AMD and MRVL are still at a loss since the March downturn. All others are in positive territory, especially SMH. Should I continue to hold them all as core holdings for the long term or would you trim or delete any? Is it still a good idea to hold SMH because the ETF owns a number of companies like ASML, AMAT, an MU that I do not hold?

Q: We keep hearing chip shortages lately, and will imagine that "AMD', TSM', NVDA'....chip names will do well as a result of strong demand and price power etc. But most of these chip names are all well below their February highs. Could you help us understanding the share price and demand divergence observed? If we buy any of these names, will we be rewarded? If yes, which one or ones you like? Thanks

Q: I'm looking to reduce the overall amount of positions. Of my tech names which would you suggest selling?

From what I can gather you prefer NVDA to AMD and would suggest one of either SHOP or LSPD. Is this accurate? Other suggestions or ideas to pair down?

Thank you very much

Q: Can you please give me your thoughts on what stocks or ETF's you like in the semiconductor space? Thanks

Q: Hi Peter, in the semi space we have AMD, NVDA, QRVO, ON, and MKSI. Knowing that NVDA is your favorite would you exit or trim any of these ? In Tech what do you think happens if/when the big guys AAPL, GOOGL etc and then the smaller guys report more good earnings numbers ? Will this boost them or are we past that for now ? Thanks for all you do !

Q: Liking the semi conductor and related space, which of the companies listed would you suggest to hold for greatest growth over the next 3-6 months. Provide other companies names if you feel are better

Q: Good morning.
I am looking to buy one of the 4 listed. My distillation of reading your responses to questions is that you would recommend NVDA. Is this correct? Thanks.

Q: First of all, thank you for your amazing work. Cannot express how helpful my 5i subscription has been. Life-changing in all honesty.

My positions in LSPD (17.3%) and GSY (12.7%) have gotten a little out of hand. I was fortunate to pick them up near their lows in April. I've already trimmed both a couple of times, but I am really struggling to sell more given the positive outlook 5i has of both for the future. I've seen similar questions asked about trimming and selling positions with phenomenal growth and seen your responses suggesting to trim positions to reasonable weightings. I thought I might have an easier time doing so if you suggested some positions to add to or some new ones viewed as favourably as LSPD and GSY.

I have the following companies in a TFSA and have included the weightings only of positions I think might warrant a second look. While I anticipate a comment about weightings needing to be personal what would YOU suggest as the highest weighting for LSPD and GSY? And, again, please suggest some positions to add to or new ones.

Feel free to take question credits as you see fit.

DOO (2.1%), ATZ (2%), AW.UN, BYD
ATD.B
BMO, BRK-B:US, GSY (12.7%)
WELL (4%), VEEV:US (1.3%)
CAE, DAL:US, AC (1%), XBC (3%)
LSPD (17.3%), KXS (7.6%), DSG (3%), CSU, PHO (1.1%), AMD:US, CRWD:US (2.4%), U:US (2.1%), NVDA:US (0.83%), TTD:US(1.2%)
ROKU:US (1.9%), TTWO:US (1.2%), PINS:US (1.5%)
AQN, BEP.UN
REAL

Thank you again

Q: Hi guys - when (if ever) does it make sense to sell individual stocks and replace them with a focused ETF? For example, I hold the 3 chip stocks above (though only for about 3 months, so only modest gains) since I expect AI, gaming and 5G to be areas of growth in the next few years. Would it make sense to sell these and replace them with SMH, which holds 25 semi-conductor stocks? These 3 are among the top SMH holdings and SMH holds other interesting stocks like TSM, ASML and MRVL. Obvious downsides are that buying SMH would add stocks that aren't currently doing so well (INTL) and would dilute my concentration in these 3. For a non-professional, part-time investor does this simplification make sense or does it significantly limit the upside?

Q: I have the above U.S. tech companies thanks to your help.
Medtronics hasn't done much in the past year - should I hang on to it?
Am wondering about purchasing VEEV or Unity Software.
If I were to add to the above positions, in what order would you do this?
Thank you so much for all your valuable help!
Margaret

Q: We are looking to adds some US positions to our TFSA. We currently have AMD, DAL, DOCU, BRK-B, and ROKU. Could you suggest 5 growth names for long term holds that you would feel comfortable entering new positions in today? And would you add to ROKU at present?

Thanks in-advance.
