Q: Strangely, this firm doesn't appear to be in your database; however, its numbers, on the face of it, seem too good to ignore. Can you please comment? CCAP:Nasdaq.

Q: Flow Beverage on the TSX. They started trading today. Any thoughts on the prospective materials?
Q: Australia seems uniquely positioned to join and / or lead the green energy wave with both ample green resources and rich mineral deposits.
Whereas electric may have "won" the automotive market, still up for grabs are the heavy industrial applications - trucking, shipping, aviation, steel production....
Reference the Fortesque move into green steel production via green hydrogen.
Do you see any opportunities here, how to participate? When will this put pressure on conventional steel like LIF?
Thanks,
Jim

Q: My REIT stocks have taken off in the last month or so as yields have pulled back. Interest rates can’t stay this low for too long as the BOC has already started tapering despite no action from the Fed. Do you think the move in REITs is overdone and should I trim and wait for a pullback as rates slowly rise? Do you think the disconnect between BOC and Fed policy will lead to further appreciation in the CAD?
Thank you,
Jason

Q: What would be a good entry price for Eglx? Thx
Q: Hi, can you pls tell me how many total shares have been purchased and cancelled by the company (Real Matters) in the last 3 month and 6 month periods?
Is there a site that can tell me this info?
And is it possible for you to add totals like this in your Company Insiders section? Your section lists the transaction types and the number of buy and sell 'trades' but it does not list the total share counts. ie if i were to ask for the total shares redeemed/cancelled i would have to count x pages of listed entries....but perhaps another site already provides this info. but I'd prefer to just stay in one site. :) Perhaps this can be an enhancement in a future update.
cheers....

Brookfield Infrastructure Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BIPC)
Q: Hello 5i Team
With respect to the ongoing take-over/merger of IPL by BIPC/PPL, I have the following questions:
1 – There appears there is a time lag of 22 days from the filing date of BIPC “Notice of Variation” to the meeting date (i.e. third Notice of Variation filed July 15 to proposed meeting date of August 06). Is this a stipulated regulatory
requirement?
2 – If the required notice period is 21 or 22 days, then is it correct that PPL would NOT be able to revise its offer of 0.5 shares of PPL for each IPL share prior to BIPC meeting date?
3 – At current prices, for BIPC/IPL/PPL, who is buying/selling IPL in the market?
If an IPL purchaser would want to vote for the BIPC offer, they could buy shares of BIPC cheaper than the equivalent amount of BIPC they would receive in the BIPC offer.
If an IPL purchaser would want to vote for the PPL offer, they could buy shares of PPL cheaper than they could buy equivalent amount of IPL shares.
It would make sense for existing shareholders (from prior to announcement) to hold and wait for the results of the bidding war unless one wants cash from either proposal.
4 – What are 5i thoughts on who will ultimately win this takeover battle?
Thanks

Q: I recently cashed out of IWO (nearly doubled) but in violation of your rule against selling anything just because the price is too high. It is now a bit below where I sold. Wondering if I should go back in, wait for a stabilized rising trend, or pick something similar (SPY?) that you like better for 2-3 year hold? Thanks Jim
