Q: Terravest, Celestica, Lumine, Vitalhub, Hammond power solutions and several other stocks have already been discovered by the market, with their share prices reflecting that momentum over time. In your opinion, could you name 2-3 stocks US and CAN that are still under the radar and have strong potential to surge once they're discovered by the broader market? Thank you for your excellent service and insightful guidance.
Q: What are the differences between XSP and ZSP? Which one would you give the edge to and why? Thank you.
Q: MDA has had a great ride over the last 12 months (+171%) - is the share price ahead of itself? Is it too late to take a bite?
Your insight is most welcomed.

Q: I am looking for a broad US ETF that is hedged so that if the Cdn dollar goes up vs the USD, I do not lose out. Also, when they are hedged, does it work both ways? ie whether the dollar goes up or down vs the USD. Are there more costs to this type of ETF?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: According to CNN, "Currently, gamblers can deduct their losses before paying taxes on their winnings. Under Trump’s bill, though, they’ll be able to deduct just 90% of their losses. For example: Win $100,000, but lose $80,000? You’ll have made $20,000 but owe taxes on $28,000. “This new amendment to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act would end professional gambling in the US and hurt casual gamblers, too,” professional poker player Phil Galfond said on X. “You could pay more in tax than you won.”
An easy question for you, as it's more or less just speculation, but how could you see this affecting these two stocks? Thank you!

Q: Hi Peter at present I have an FHSA for my son holding both BAM and BN, if you had to pick one to sell so you could increase one of the other shares, which one is best suited for this type of account, or would you still stick with both. Thanks

Q: With these two etf's both modeling the S&P 500 and returns since inception appearing to be only .69% apart why do they have such different pricing per unit? I assume both are treat similar in tax treatment?
Thanks

Q: Can I get your opinion on SWIM please. Is it likely to take business from the concrete pools going forward? Is the balance sheet in good shape? Any opinion on management and growth? Is it a good buy in the present price range?
Q: Hoping to get your view on this NA small cap. Stock price seems to have taken a huge hit from its IPO at the height of the pandemic years, and although it began a recovery in the last year or so it’s still nowhere near its IPO. What do you make of this company specifically and the industry it operates (leisure products) specifically. Thx
Q: I notice lots of your answers for why a stock is good is because of "momentum". I guess this isn't a fundamental, so what is it? It seems even if stock A is cheaper and is similar to stock B, you will suggest stock B even if it is more expensive but has momentum.
Q: Hello, I have been thinking about initiating a long-term position (6-10yrs) in Costco for a while now.
My long-held view of the US dollar remaining strong and stable has changed; I have resolved to continue holding my US dollar securities through whatever this is but not buy more US currency at this time.
The issue is whether to initiate a new position in:
1)COST using existing $US or
2)the Costco CDR in Canadian $
Which option, in your opinion, represents the best risk-adjusted return over the next:
A)6-10 years?
B)1-5 years?
Does your response for A) change for beyond 10 years?
I know there are way too many variables here for any ‘correct’ answers but it is still interesting to have 5i’s perspective.
Thank you. This is an awesome service!

Q: Now that Canada is ratcheting up defense spending, I am looking to invest in this sector. Here are a few aerospace defence companies I know of CAE, Magellan, MDA, Bombardier.
Would any of these stocks have potential for growth.
Would you have any other suggestions.
Thank you.
Rick and Chris Fralick.

Q: What can u tell me about this company? It seems to have a very low P/E but recently has had a bit of a pullback. I am not a holder of it but it has had a steadily rising stock price last 5 years. Would you consider it a good investment and why or why not? Thank you.
Q: There is a lot of rhetoric coming out of Ottawa about going all in to boost the canadian economy with major growth projects, reduce internal trade barriers, and mitigate tariff impact. If this in fact all comes to fruition, do you think this would positively affect canadian ETF values and would this be a good time to buy into those? VDY for example.
