Q: Good morning,

Both my consumer cyclical holdings - Footlocker and Canada Goose - have lost a lot of money. I am wondering what 5i's thoughts are?

Q: I used to own a REIT called INN . A play on the Canadian tourism industry . I did quite well on it and sold it for a tidy profit when they were bought out . With our southern neighbors rapidly approaching " Most Hated Nation " status coupled with their currently well publicized Gestapo tactics at the border resulting in travel alerts in at least five countries ..... I am curious in what ways I can invest in the Canadian tourism industry ? On social media I am reading a lot of European and Aussie tourists are planning trips to Canada instead of the U.S. .... Any suggestions of an approach to investing in Canadian tourism ? I am looking for Canada " only " options . If there are no " Canada " options how about Europe ? Not interested in any company that even uses U.S. airspace..... I'm an " Elbows Up " Canucklehead .....

Of course one other concern is Trump throwing the world into recession and the travel industry suffering as a result. Could 5i comment on that thesis as well ? ..... Thanks for your terrific service .....

Q: Goose is continuing its spiral to all time lows, but (I think?) business model remains ok. Is this getting to the point of buying if in for the long haul or is this one to leave and forget about?

Q: I hold a position in this company and am down in excess of 50%. Would you recommend moving on here before tax loss selling takes hold? Or do you think the share price has already been impacted by tax loss selling. Do you see a near term catalyst which could support a share price rally? Q: This company's shares are trading below their ipo price. Are there any rumours of ruminations that it might go private or get bought out?

Q: Hi: I am looking back at your recent answers and also this week’s earnings. Are you now recommending that GOOS is a sell, please advise with some suggested guidance going forward. With their seasonal business it would also be helpful if you can comment on likely updates to their progress, ie we need another winter to pass before we see any changes.

Q: Long investor trying my best to hang in there in with some of my dog stocks. Down significantly in Matterport 85%. Guardant Health 29%. Canada Goose 45%. Inmode 40%. Southwest Airlines 40%. Viemed 32%.
My 5i membership has been a stalwart of sound reason over the years, and I’ve appreciated your take on some companies that nose dive, but you feel are worthy of hanging onto, even if it takes a year or more. (ROKU and PINS spring to mind). With some potential tax loss harvesting coming up, which of the following would you think could be a re-buy, and which could be saluted and sent off to oblivion after the sale? I’m consigned now to doing either.

Q: Except for CTS, ATZ, SHOP and LAC all of these, once darlings, are below where they were 5 years ago and all of them are down sharply from their all-time highs. Can you provide your thoughts on which, if any, of these stocks will be able to get back to their old highs and a guess on when. Also, please identify your top picks (ones that you are sure will survive and thrive in the next 2 to 3 years) and your bottom picks (ones that are destined to struggle for years). They don’t all need to go into those two groups, as the future of some of them may be fuzzy. A sentence or two on why you placed these stocks in these groups would be appreciated. Thanks

Q: Hi 5i,

Would appreciate your thoughts on GOOS recent earnings.

Market doesn't seem to be too happy with this company today but I didn't see anything that would warrant a 8% drop in value. Given the potential upcoming/current economic headwinds I believe they performed well and lowering their guidance to be a prudent move.

What am I missing?

Q: The Chinese economy has been haunting Canada Goosenfor a while and this issue seems to be getting worse. Do you have any thoughts on impact to future outlook? I’m not interested in waiting out another 30-50% plunge if that is a predictable outcome.

Q: Both Aritzia and Canada Goose have seen a drop in their share prices recently. I am interested in investing in one of them for the long term. Which one do you think has a better growth potential and why?
