Q: In your previous as well as more recent comments, you have been fairly positive about EXP. How do your views take into account the rather negative outlook for home builders and for the USA economy (thank you Trump)? Thank you for your excellent service.

Q: I'm considering shareholder yield as a factor for investing. Can I have your opinion of such a strategy and is there a favourable/preferred % when looking at companies? Finally, would you have 5 US and 5 TSX companies that you would choose when considering this approach? Dock me as many questions as you like and thanks!

Q: On these 7 themes please pick your favourite one or two stocks for each theme based on your view of the best potential performance over a 3 year hold with "appropriate" thought given to concern for downside potential based on corporate debt, management, current valuation or any other concerns that would prevent you from choosing a given equity. For most themes suggested equities are provided however please feel free to ignore those if not your favourite one or two. 1. AI COMPUTE (META ASML) 2. AI SOFTWARE (AVGO IBM) 3. POWER AND UTILITIES (NEXTERRA DUKE AEP) 4. BUILDING PRODUCTS (INHD AEHL WSO CRH) 5. LIFE SCIENCES 6. HEALTHCARE SERVICES (MERCK TMO AMGN SYK) 7. ELECTRIFICATION AND INDUSTRIAL (GEV EOSE GWH MVST). Q: Hello,
What would be your top mid-cap stocks for both the CDN and US stocks for contribution into TFSAs?
You're often asked for small-cap companies so wondering if we could go up a notch in the rankings to see what your thoughts are....
As always, many thanks for your help and wishing you well in 2025!

Q: I am interested in picking a US materials Co as a play on infrastructure spending and to balance my portfolio. I am considering Martin Marietta, US Lime & Minerals, Eagle materials and Quanta services. My only materials holding at present is Agnico Eagle mines (1.6%). I am a moderate risk investor. Of these 4, which you would comfortably buy today with greatest growth potential. Secondly which two seem to you to be least risky. Finally is there another company you would prefer to any of these and if so what would be your reasoning for that pick. Thanks as always.

Q: Hi 5i!
Piggy backing off one of my last questions on building a solid portfolio from scratch through diversification et al(THANK YOU!). Knowing you can’t get personal; looking for some mid to long term hold recommendations (either US or CA) in the following sectors with growth upside in mind as I have significant cash (250K+) sitting in my RRSP doing nothing. I am currently quite top heavy in Tech – and own the above in registered and non-registered accounts.
If you have several recos for a sector, can you please rank in order of preference. Additionally, if there is a sector that can be put to the side with the idea of prioritizing others, I would be keen to know. Also open to add ETF's to represent a sector. As always, thanks a million. I love your service.

Q: Hi All;
I am looking through potential Materials companies for an investment and note in many questions here you single out EXP as a preferred investment in construction materials. Who would be their largest 3 competitors in this business segment, and of the 4 how would you rank them in terms of potential investment gains over a 5 year period?
Thanks,
Dave
