Q: There are a number of Small/Mid cap stocks you have liked for a long time and there are others that have recently come into play.
Most of these companies have done very well over time and some have stumbled.
I own a number of these names and other than Goeasy and the negative momentum of software names I have done well…
However, having been bitten a little by some of these names I find it difficult to venture into new names like FLY, TSAT, MDA, ENS, ELVA and others given the almost daily volatility.
What portion of your portfolio would you feel is reasonable for Small/Mid cap names? And what are your key metrics when you review or recommend these small to mid size companies?
Given all of that what would be your top 5 new names you like in today’s market?
Thanks
Tim

Q: I hold Fix and Vrt and have done very well on both because of their potential re Data Centers, I am nervous on both because of past performance and I am aware that this % performance wont go on forever and there will come a day that I will likely bail. Do you have any other similar stocks that you would recommend That should benefit from the Data Center frenzy. Iwould put a stop loss on any of these stocks Thank you.

Q: Hi,
In reading a recent article on AMD's move into the NVDA market I read at: https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/stocks/articles/3x-amd-cracked-nvidia-code-133943897.html
I had to wonder about whether it would be prudent to sell some NVDA shares currently held in my TFSA to diversify into AMD, INTC and possibly MRVL. I've done extremely well on NVDA over the years and am starting to think about how much farther NVDA can run, vs some of the smaller semis at this point. I am also concerned with NVDA's price movements lately, as it finally broke out of consolidation, only to drop back today when others are climbing. Are there other names I should be considering as well? I use this account for shorter term momentum stocks, and keep a close eye on it. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts regarding NVDA and other semis - I also really enjoyed your Jan 5 Opinion piece on all things AI related and have been able to do well from a number of the stocks you highlighted - many thanks!

If you had to consider 1-2 more names, what would they be? Thanks!

Q: Hi team,
I recently trimmed my position in NVDA and I would like to add the proceeds to my dividend income.
I currently owe BAC, BX, DFS, DUK, HAS, GLW, KMI, NVT, PAC, SWKS, VZ, WMB AND ABBV for dividend and some growth. I would like to add one or more US company to this list.
Any suggestions to add to this list? And, what company would you replace in this list if you have any concerns?
Oh, I'm not a big fan of tobacco companies.
Thank you for the great service and I really appreciate your insights.
Stephan
