Q: Hello 5i team,
I've held a good number of stocks you hold in your BE portfolio and I've managed to obtain a 14% compound annual total return in the last 11 years.
100% of my portfolio is in equities; I'll be shortly 77 years old and plan to reduce my equity exposure to 30%, with the above stocks in mind.
Your opinion is most valuable
Antoine
Q: I just become member today and trying to familiarize with your contents on website.
What portfolio should I consider for TFSA and for my RRSP. I really like your BE portfolio but there are total 25 holdings. Leaving aside portfolio consideration, what would be your opinion/suggestion for me to buy in BE today for my TFSA. If you could suggest at least 7 to 10 holdings as I have all my TFSA contribution in cash (all of my 67 K so far) in Investment account.
Q: I hold the above equities. I have additional funds to allocate. Your suggestions please. Take this opportunity to thank Peter for a great job, very reliable.
I would not want to add to my positions in ECN.PR.A , ENB, PNG ,& LSPD because of weighting’s and/or risk.
I manage my son's TFSA, and it's quite well diversified, except for zero exposure in energy. For this year's contribution, I'm considering one of ENB, IPL, TRP, or PKI. I realize that PKI is in a different sub-sector, but am leaning towards it, and would appreciate your insight. We favour dividend payers, even if it's a small dividend. Thanks as always.
Q: I have held these stocks for several years. I hold them in both a RRSP and TFSA accounts. Both stocks are about 6% of my overall portfolios. Reluctant to trim back. Should I continue to let them run or 6% too high ?
Q: In the company data for PKI the earnings estimate is $1.52 which is a negative 22% growth over 2019, is this correct?
For FSV the estimate is $2.38 which is negative 3.6% over the previous year?
And for ATD.B there are no estimates, do have any estimates for next year?
Your assistance as always is greatly appreciated.
Mike
Q: I have small positions in both of these stocks and am considering lightening up on these positions to reduce exposure in this sector for a 2 to 3 year hold. How would you rank them with regards to growth and safety? I’m leaning towards keeping parkland. Thanx for your expertise.
Q: Hello 5i, the S&P/TSX30 is based on growth over past three years . Looking forward what would be your top 8 for growth over the next three years?
I realize this is a bit of crystal ball work but I would like to hear your thoughts!!
Regards Dave
Q: Parkland Fuel trading volume exceeded its 10-day moving average by 51.28%, trading 429.45K shares at 04:00PM ET......Any idea what this is all about, like what is going on?....Tom
Q: I have often read that PKI is the next ATD.B. Would you agree with this assessment? In what what way are the two companies similar? How do the two companies differ?
I currently hold these stocks in an unregistered account. I have journaled over the five companies into a US account for the dividend. I would like to add possibly two more companies that pay their dividend in US funds. I have the rest of the balanced fund and some growth in my TFSA. Any suggestions to add here, and if it results in duplication, what would you remove from the list. I am well balanced and would likely have to sell at least one current stock and could just add the other if you can give me two. Was looking at Nutrien or AQN. Didn’t pull the trigger on AQN last year at 12.5.
