Q: With the stock market being just terrible these days, what at the companies trading at or near 52 week lows that you would strongly buy if you could (US or CDN)?

Q: These 2 darlings are now ugly ducklings. Not long ago,Shop was the biggest company in Canada overtaking perrinnel leader,RY. Recent drastic drop from $2228 H to $658,1year Low.Any reasons for the 14% haircut today besides news that it is in talks to buy startup,Deliverr. Think market does not like this type of acquistion nowadays as it will likely increase its losses & prolong its plan to profitability in this market backdrop. Is this a entry point or more pain to come. Txs for u usual great services & views Is this an entry point for GSY which got hammered today too & trading near 1yr low.

Q: Hi 5i

Can you assign a rank on the future potential for each of these companies on a scale of 1-10? 1 being dead in the water and 10 being amazing potential from current levels?

If you have 1-2 favs from this list, what makes them better than the rest?

Thanks!

Q: I hold TTD, NVDA, UCTT, VEEV, APPS abd AFRM in the USD section of my RRSP. TTD and NVDA are still green, the others are down, 30-50% with AFRM down 76%. Do you see any holdings that should be sold and added to the others?

Q: Watching these two companies putting in new 52 week lows today. I know that the financial sector is out of favour but when I consider the growth rate of these two names I am wanting to purchase them. AFRM just stated it will exceed 3rd quarter and y/e outlooks. Could you give update and thoughts on these. Relative to growth are they expensive?

Q: Moving money from a poor performer to a better performer, talking about AFRM and U - both I could not find in your database when I tried to search them. I was going to move them to more better performers in the case of CRWD and NVDA. That should be a better place. I am north of 70 so waiting 5 years for these 2 to recover may not be an option here. Another 2 that one day they are up 10% and the next day they are down 10% - CELH and UPST. Are there any issues that have surfaced lately about the four mentioned securities thanks

Q: My accrued gains from the last few years on these tech stocks are evaporating. I'm thinking of selling the works and buying an energy ETF like IXC. Does this trade make sense?

Q: Hello 5I, looking at potentially adding a fintech stock to round up my portfolio. With that said which do you think has the most upside but is a decent company? Please add other options if i missed some names. Thanks

Q: As we move into 2022 I find myself looking for long-term trends that I can believe in and consequently feel safe to invest in. It seems to me that:
1. FINTEC
2. Cyber security
3. Payments
are three such trends. I'm curious if you agree with my three choices and if you do could you suggest a couple of companies in each trend that would be your favourites. Finally, are there other viable long term trends that you think I have missed?

Q: For a 5 year hold, With the 23% drop in FB, is it better to sell at a loss in a registered account and buy stocks such as Roku, afrm, upst, Netflix, Shopify? These stocks are also down lately. Would you make the same decision for a 2 year hold?

Q: Looking to take advantage of the pullback in growth names. The names above are standing out to me as companies that have been beaten up and 'may' offer a good short term bounce as well as long term potential. Is this a buying opportunity for those listed above? Are there other names you would suggest and could you rank them please? I am a fairly aggressive long term investor with an otherwise diversified portfolio.

Q: I have TTD, PLTR, NVDA, PLTR, NVDA, CRWD, APPS, UCTT, CELH, AFRM, MTTR, UPST, VEEV, in my US account, and LSPD, SHOP, EGLX, TIXT in my Canadian (and holdings in other sectors, but these are the holdings in question). I don't need to sell anything, but don't have new funds to deploy in the low market. I had a lot of positions in tech going in and already thinking about consolidating the sector when the market turned. I wonder if you see anything that should be sold, and added to something else to maximize growth when the market turns good again, or if it is better not to shuffle at this point.

Q: On 5 Jan you responded to James that you had the view that AFRM was still fundamentally strong and was setting up for a potential rebound. Do you still feel this way? I see there are some legal issues surrounding this company now as well. I have a half position in this company, am normally a long term investor, but is it time to sell this and put that money into another company which has better bounce potential? Thanks again, Dan

Q: I am down 21% on BABA and even more down on UPST and AFRM. At this point, with a plan to hold for 3-5 years, would it make sense for me to sell all my BABA and invest in UPST and AFRM. Which of the 2 is expected to have a better upside in 3-5 years? Which of the 2 is riskier?
