Shopify Inc. Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (SHOP $168.45)
-
Block Inc. Class A (SQ)

Lightspeed Commerce Inc. Subordinate Voting Shares (LSPD $17.92)
Q: What is going on with LSPD. It seems to be dropping and CFRA has a Strong Sell on it. Also what do you think about SQ and SHOP for an investment in a TFSA?
Q: Which of these two companies do you like for a long term hold?
Q: Thank you for your previous response to my question regarding these 2 stocks. I just want to make sure I completely understand your advice: 1) HLTH - My understanding is that my only hope to extracting any value out of this is to wait and see if the stock reappears on the OTC. How long would you suggest is a reasonable amount of time to wait to see if this is going to happen before giving up on the stock having any tradeable value (in my mind $.10 on the $1 is better than nothing)? If it goes OTC will it reappear on my Waterhouse account notifying me of the relisting or is there a place I can periodically search to see if it reappears on the OTC? In the event that I wait a "reasonable" amount of time and it is still not trading on the OTC I can see the merit of gifting the shares to Waterhouse to get the tax write off in the cash account ...... however it seems I would be best to just leave it in the registered accounts as there is no value in gifting them. correct? 2) AGN - you suggested that I tender the AGN shares for ABBV shares and cash........ I assume you meant don't sell the AGN shares on the open market (because of the current discount) and wait until the deal is done and this tendering of shares to the offer will happen automatically....... or do I need to provide instructions to the broker?
Thank you
Scott

Q: Hi team:
this stock was very closed to $ 140 recently, now pulled back to close to $ 130
pays a small dividend
are there any particular news or it is just going along with the market ?
I could add to the position for a 3 plus years hold for income and capital growth
thanks
Michael

Q: May I please have your opinion of Invesque. I has recently been listed to trade on the TSX.
Q: Hi,
Do you know why Bombardier stock is behaving so badly in the last week. Besides tax loss selling, I do not see any new bad news. Thanks

Q: Hi Peter/Ryan I'm not one to want to hold UK shares of a company, I have 350 Shares of TSGI in my RRSP and TFSA stock accounts what would be the best thing to do at this point. Would you sell now or is there a chance the price will increase. Thanks, Nick
Q: I have always considered invests in companies that have operations in Russia or are Russian domiciled as being too risky, but recently came across Gazprom. I would appreciate your opinion as to the risk of investing in Gazprom at this time. A perusal of a Reuters report on the company indicates that the company’s metrics look ok and it has a 25% payout ratio. If purchased it would be for income.
Thank you for considering my question

Q: I have shares in XOM and like the dividends. Do you have any comments on XOM in light of them selling their Norwegian assets and their last quarter performance. I see in the profile there is a strong preference to hold. Thanks.
Q: There has been an industrial fire at a lubrizol site in France. It has been catastrophical with a potential liability in the many billions, when people will find the deep pockets behind lubrizol, they are likely to push forward their claims with vigor. Lubrizol is a 100% owned berkshire subsidiary. I cannot find any references to it in our north american news channels.
I hope lubrizol has some liability insurance, and i hope not with their parent company. Have you had access to any news on this.
Thank you.

Q: Can you provide context for drop? I can't find any news. thanks
Q: Hi 5i,
What happened to winpak today? How accretive is the deal? Is the price move overly enthusiastic? (Typical of winpak not to require funding for the deal.) worth adding or hold?
Many thanks.

Q: Hello Peter, Another question and bit more direct as still had the shares at slightly higher price than trading today . Would you suggest holding if you see better future or sell and put money elsewhere where you see better potential ( considering the market meltdown today many are becoming more attractive - example 0 TEAM< TTD< ROKU). Thanks
Q: Any idea why LNR has fallen more in the past few days? Is it time to sell?
Q: With the recent volatility would it be wise in your mind to reduce tech exposure (GOOG) and increase financials (MA)?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: With this company leaving the Canadian and US exchanges what expenses would have to be paid to trade the combined shares in London.
Q: If tsgi was so cheap should a person continue to hold even though the new company trades on london.
Q: Just to follow up my previous question on market makers, would an iceberg order be a way around? BTW I don't do big orders, just smallish board lots, so the m.m. must think that's worthwhile for him too.
Q: Not a question just an F.Y.I..... BNN just posted some numbers on the TSGI deal.... Flutter currently trading at $146.34 which puts a current value of $32.97 on TSGI shares. I wouldn't be too quick to sell at what the market is valuing TSGI after the announcement..
