Q: Brick Brewing has gone up in price recently. Do you consider it to be overpriced?

Q: I keep hearing about TOY being tied exclusively with Toys R Us but I have seen Spin Master toys being sold in numerous outlets including: Canadian Tire, Mastermind and Walmart. Shoppers even has some of their product like Paw Patrol.
It seems the recent decline has been a bit over done?

Q: Hi, my brokerage co. offers technical alerts and top picks on a daily basis. The top picks have a price target and a time frame to reach that target. On March 6th one stock trading at $5.94 was predicted to reach $10- $11 in 29 days. The very same stock on March 17th, trading at $5.85, was predicted to reach $7.50-$7.90 in 9days. So my questions are, does the second prediction cancel the first ? I realise that both are possible given the time frame but would that be the correct way to look at it? Also when they talk about days to target is that calendar days or trading days? The same question applies to moving averages, 20 day 50 day etc, calendar or trading? Thank you
Q: Hello 5i,
5i has RME debt to equity at .21 last twelve months. Meanwhile Yahoo has total debt to equity as 165 (most recent quarter). Is this due to an RME acquisition?
Thank you
Stanley

Q: Hello 5i, I purchased shares on the Telus IPO in 1990 and 1991 and am about to sell them but I need to find out what the adjusted cost base is.
In 1990 they were 12.00/share and 1991 they were 15.00/share.
Is there an easy way to find out what it would be or is there a website that you know of that could calculate this.
Thanks

Q: Could you comment on the Hecla takeover of Klondex Mines, please? I've been a long-time holder of Hecla and sold my Klondex a little while ago a higher levels. Thanks.
Q: Hi Team, We are wondering if you would still recommend WPK (we already have CCL at a max. percentage of our portfolio) or would you have other companies in consumer cyclical that you would prefer?
Q: Knight committed to up to $25M in the partnership deal announced this morning. It is a fairly large amount compared to some deals. Is this a big deal?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: With a PE under 10, and a sector with legs, doesn’t MU look like a screaming buy? Morningstar is bearish based on the cyclicality of the sector and prior management missteps. Plus insider action is bearish.
Appreciate your take. Thanks Frank

Q: With the precipitous decline over the last 9 months, I can understand that your answers to recent questions on CGX are a little less than enthusiastic but I note you still include it in the Income Portfolio and still rate it at A-. Do you think the dividend is at all threatened or do see any other major negatives on the horizon?
Q: I ALWAYS ask about only one company at a time in one question. I ask here about two companies only because the two are intertwined.
Confusion lingers over QCOM.us. The uncertainty in my mind is over: QCOM’s long outstanding offer to buy NXP Semi; disputes with major customers (or is it just one customer Apple?) And now a former insider wants to buy out QCOM and his group has not clarified its position on NXPI.
I hold both QCOM.us and NXPI.us. QCOM appears to have a moat in that its products are, for now, allegedly indispensable in many devices. Is QCOM’s moat real?
Which of QCOM and NXPI ---IF EITHER --- would you sell? Your reasons would be much appreciated, thanks.

Q: Good morning,
What do you make of the ALO acquisition? Stock is down sharply, is now a good time to average down?

Q: I have owned this stock for several years and it would appear that the company is executing its strategy well, albeit much more slowly than I would have liked. As it results improve, I am wondering how you see its growth going forward and combined with that what you see as an ultimate viable exit strategy. The last few quarters results have been good (in my eyes) and while the stock price has grown, the trading volume is so low that it seems that even if I wanted to get out, I could not. (Just for the record, I don't). But do see the ultimate end play as a takeover in which case I won't have to worry about liquidity? Or is it just a sleepy stock that has enough shares outstanding to not make this an issue?
Appreciate your insight.

Q: I bought this for growth. I am down about 7% . Would you recommend selling all or part of it? Do not need tax loss. Helen
Q: Untangling the relationship between ECN and EFN is above my pay grade, but hopefully not above yours. Are there any lingering connections which would keep these entities tied together, where fundamental problems in EFN could leech into ECN? Or are they now completely and absolutely separate? Thanks again!
Q: Facebook is down over 3% in premarket trading. I have done very well on this stock. It is approximately 3.5% of my portfolio. Time to lighten up. Your comments would be appreciated. Thanks
