Q: Syz.,what is happening here? This company is totally out of favor.
What is the market telling us?
They aren't earning enough to pay the dividend. And really, why is a growth company even paying a dividend? That doesn't make much sense.
Please can you shine some light on this.As well as Cliq, what is the story here? Its very confusing to me

Q: It now looks like the takeover by sundial is going ahead. I have no interest in owning sundial, but cliq is trading about $0.50 less then the offer from sundial.
What do you think of the acquisition and what owners of cliq stock should do? When is the last date cliq can be sold, before the takeover?

Q: I have held on to this looser much too long. When they announced yesterday that Aurora was selling its entire stake at $3.00 /share I gasped expecting that the stock would crater too well below that on the news. Instead it rose nicely the day of the announcement at one point trading as high as $3.84 Can you please explain the reason for this? On a separate note they also reported spectacular Q1 sales growth on Monday yet still reported a loss of $0.16 /share. Will this company ever be able to turn a profit?

Q: I have the above 3 holdings with losses ranging from -60% to -85%. They each now represent less than 0.5% of my overall holdings so whatever happens they will barely move the needle. I am at a point where I feel I need to do some type of clean-up and would appreciate your advice. I see 3 possible choices:
1. Dump them right away regardless of price in the name of cleaning up my portfolio
2. Given that we might be close to a bottom wait (say between 1 month to a year) to hopefully sell at a better price
3. Top them up to at least a quarter or half position and hang on to them long term
They are all in registered accounts so there are no tax benefits in selling. Furthermore I went into this downturn with 30% cash and have since bought into the drop (other positions) bringing my cash down to 15%, with plans to do additional purchases if the market drops further. So at the moment, I have no immediate need for the little cash that selling these right now would bring. What would you suggest?

Q: Good Morning.
I like the momentum and your positive comments on XBC. In an effort to establish a position in XBC I can add new money to an unregistered account or sell DOL and COV in my TFSA or TSGI and CLIQ in my RRSP.
This may be a too specific question with regards to my portfolio so in the alternative do you have more conviction in XBC than the other for companies at present?
Thank you

Q: I have continued to hold because I thought the overall strategy was sound and selling pot as a retail business makes longer term sense compared to the valuations in the pot growing companies themselves. Can you comment on recent earnings and how you see management's strategy playing out? Does their generally optimistic evaluation of the quarter and their prospects seem reasonable?

Q: At current levels which should we sell/keep ? They now total ~35% of overall equity holdings, and ~20% vs overall holdings inc cash. Thanks.
