Q: I hold a small position in EIF (1%) and debating whether to add or move on here. I like the divvy, but is it sustainable (payout ratio?). 50% off recent highs made in Feb, is it likely to re-test lows of late March ($14) in a second wave of market downdraft ? What are it’s prospects in a post-Corona world, does its business lend itself to quick recovery?

Please charge however among of credit for the questions.

Thanks again for your your great service!

Q: I just read your report on PBH and wondering what does China have to do with supplying pork to PBH? (ref. Growth Plans section of the report). I always thought China was a net importer of pork and am shocked if Canada /PBH is buying Chinese pork. Please explain the China connection to PBH operations and its impact on PBH earnings & growth.

Q: Morning ,
Relative to your recent comments on Canadian Banks and shorts , What % of shorts does it take to make a meaningful impact on the upside. Have benefited in shorts recently in Snap, Shop and ETSY . Cut my investing teeth in the Nortel, Rim , JDSU days and yet my banks have been my best long term move.
Thanks
Greg

Q: Hello Peter & 5 I team,
Thank you for the update yesterday. You mentioned that solvency is a risk in these turbulent times. We are holding the above mentioned stocks and are wondering if any of them are an insolvent potential.

Q: Hi,
I am wondering if there are any any tail hedging strategies available to the common investor. As an example Universa has an insurance product which uses tail hedging strategies where one invests about 3% of their portfolio which practically produces a zero return during normal times but during times when unforeseen events or sudden crashes happen they produce phenomenal returns..I believe such products are only available to institutional investors. Thank you very much. Regards,
Shyam

What companies do you recommend and see being active in this environment on acquisitions. Or do you forecast a slow down on acquiring because of all the uncertainty.

Thank you

KXS-3.27%
CSU-3.7%
LSPD-2..21%
FB-1.05%

Q: I am having a difficult time understanding the purpose of the analysts. The analysts group is: never right; the price variance is significant; they have a large conflict of interest problem; what side of the position are they on - buy side or sell side; who pays them; trust is important in any industry but who do you trust in the group; etc. etc. etc.
The never look at the analysts price information to make a decision, I review the information contained with the analysis to help me make a decision.
Comments are appreciated.
