Q: Hi 5I.

Contemplating giving up on ATS (only stock I own in the red today, as usual) and using proceeds to add to TFII. Will this move put me in a position to recover losses on ATS over the next 2 years versus just holding onto ATS.?

Q: Hello, I am wanting to increase my TFSA Industrial sector from 12% to 15%. I presently hold ATRL CP MDA and DRX. Which would be better addition RTX or ATS? Another thought is add RTX and replace DRX (down 30%) with ATS. I do hold for longer term. Thanks for any comments.

Q: Interesting comments in your latest Market Update about small caps. In addition to any potential upside in 2025, we are close to the possible annual January “bounce”. If you had to pick 5 (ranked) Canadian small caps to take advantage, which 5 equities would you lean towards? Also, is there an ideal ETF that would cover all the small cap basics? (2 questions)
On another note, long time member here who is extremely grateful for the outstanding service you provide. I’ve listened attentively, learned a lot, and have been blessed with some lucrative decisions, always guided by your sage wisdom. Q: I am down 1/3 in ATS in a TFSA and want to move into something with some momentum.
Please provide a handful of suggestions for a growth name I can buy and forget in the short term.
Any sector. Canadian and US, but US preferred. I may also consider a growth-oriented ETF that might prove low-maintenance for the next 10 years.

Q: I have sold the above two companies, half of BYD and all of ATS. The purpse was to raise cash and put it into a high interest Canadian dollar savings ETF to wait out the first part of the Trump presidential version Nu. two.

These were my proposed and current holdings. My investment account is not unlimited, and many of my "concerning holdings" are in the bottom half of the list, and although they are currently 5i holds, would 5i get out of them to initiate positions in more lucrative opportunities?

IE, would 5i move CELH, TMDX, ATS, and CROX to the "sell" column if it meant being able to initiate positions in GOOG, ISRG, SHOP, and AEM?

I have been holding ATS for a while and bought it around $55 in a registered account. Yesterday reading your answer to one of our member's questions, you mentioned about "we like ATS' business but it has had some fundamental issues over the last year..." could you please elaborate it a bit more for me to understand what kind of fundamental issues? any other better name or names in the sector to replace ATS that has some fundamental issues?
