Q: Good morning 5i
Yesterday i asked about a replacement for Magna and you kindly offered tfii and ats. I like these suggestions. But, the problem ( nice to have such a problem) is that i am already quite overweightin tfii and am also overweight inthe industrial sector. So, i am hesitant to buy ats. Do you have an equivalent for ats? Any other sector is ok, although my technology holdings are high. Also a US stock would be ok. It may not be the right mindset but i would like something with growth that can help recuperate some of my loses on mga
Thanks

Q: Hi, Transports got hit hard ( Fedex results and general market sell off?) on Friday, pulling TFII and ATS with it, down 3% and 4%, respectively to $159 and $54. Do you continue to believe these two companies to be your favorites in the sector ( besides CNR/CP ) ? If so, is it a decent price level to accumulate/add to our very small 0.50% position in each company or you would prefer to wait ? Thank You

Q: Good morning. I am underweight Materials and Industrials and want to add to my holdings in those sectors. I considering adding some or all of the above as new positions to my RRIF. Do you consider it is a good time to be adding these companies to my portfolio or do you have other suggestions in the Material and Industrial sector that you consider better to purchase at this time. Please take as many credits as you consider appropriate.
Thanks for your great advise.

Q: Hi Team,
A couple parts to this question: Looking at a 10yr chart on ATS, the share price has gone from being fairly flat for several years, to parabolic since Oct. of 2020. Was wondering if you could shed some light on this and the company itself. I like the looks of the company but am hesitant of buying at a "peak". I see between Feb-May of 2022 it took a major dive. What are the chances the share price is due for another one of these draw downs? This all being said, ATS is the biggest weighting in the growth portfolio right now. Does this mean it's 5i's top idea at the moment? For new money I am torn between buying something like ATS which is flying high, or buying something that has been beat down and near recent lows such as something like SHOP or NVEI. Placing bets on total return for the next 10yrs would ATS rank up there as a top buy today with medium risk in mind? If not, could you provide your 3-4 top ideas to buy today with a longer term mindset? Thanks

Shane.

Q: Hello, we need to increase our weighting in Industrials, with current holdings mostly CNR (5%). Based on various BNN guests views and as finetuned with 5i recommendations, we have shortlisted these 3 names and the intention is to build at least 3% weighting, in each or all of these names. Could you please rank them based on your conviction. Also, would appreciate it if you could also provide a decent entry level as well as an Excellent Buy price. Thank You

Q: I have owned this stock for a very long time but its share price is the same as it was 6 years ago and the dividend is small. I would appreciate your opinion of the future of this company. It is one of the first stocks I purchased and I accept there is an emotional attachment which could be clouding my judgement as I think I should sell it.

Appreciate your insight.

Q: In my TFSA, these are the stocks I would "like" to buy (CDR, NEO), probably in the order I have listed them, unless you have a suggestion: GOOG, NVDA, MSFT, AMZN, AAPL. But I will need to sell some positions to raise the cash to do so. These are my options to sell, probably in the order I have listed them, unless you have suggestions: EGLX, LSPD, TOI, NVEI, ATS. The goal is growth over a very long period (TFSA will go to my children). I am open to eliminating any from the buy list in order to keep any from the sell list. I just don't know how to compare the American names to the Canadian names. Thank you: I realize this may not be an easy question to answer, but it will help me a great deal.

Q: Looking for two or three of your favourite industrial companies as I’m low in this sector.
Looking for good management, good valuation compared to peers, a dividend, and hopefully some growth. Please rank best 1st. For 5+ year hold. Thanks

Q: Hi Team,
I have recently been looking into ATS and what they do as a company. I am quite intrigued as to what they do, and how their "theme" of business applies in todays world. It seems like they might be in a sweet spot so to say with the whole "Made in America" and "supply chain" issue themes here. Which should bold well in todays world and for the foreseeable future. Especially if North America is starting to ween itself off china from making most things. As well as with the whole automation of goods and making manufacturing more efficient. This all being said; what is your take on this company today? And does it hold the potential to be a "multi bagger" per say in 10yrs? I am mostly focused on buying into companies that have great prospects, are somewhat unique, with good growth/ solid management and track records. This being said...looking at the big run up lately...should I be waiting for a pullback to buy into this name? Or, are there better opportunities I should be buying into right now instead? If so can you name a few? Thanks again!

Q: Hi there,

I know you can only generalize re portfolio makeup - I’m up 75% on this stock and it now makes up 7% of my fairly well-diversified portfolio…do you think it’d be appropriate to trim back to 5% at this point or stay in this weighting as everything I’ve read about this company seems very positive in the near term?

Thanks very much.
