Q: Purchased these on Aug 30th - TEAM ( down 26% ), SQ ( down 22% ) and Visa ( down 11% ). What would you do at this stage - sell and cut your losses or hang on and hope for turn around. I see that you are still recommending these to your subscribers ?

Q: How would rank the stocks on straight growth prospects over the next 6 months ( High risk to Low risk ) thank You Claude
Q: Can you think of any reason why Visa is being hit harder then the S&P of late? Is there any specific thesis that ties Visa to the negative sentiment surrounding raising bond yields? I've been looking to buy this company for a very long time hoping for a pull back and finally bought a little. Would you continue to add or wait for further pull back. My only other US financial is Blackstone and it has also taken a beating lately. Thanks
Q: I am pleasantly surprised at SQ performance. Visa is one of the most steady stock and have done well for me . I am considering trimming the gains of V to initate a half position on SQ. Would you consider this a reasonable move
Q: While VISA is 32% of our financial sector holdings, it is only <6% of total portfolio. All the rest of financial sector holdings are <2.5% of total portfolio.
Q: I have an a US "balanced" portfolio that holds V (and also BAC) , you suggested in an earlier answer to another person that for diversification, might take a position in SQ. If both V and SQ were held, what weightings would you consider giving V and SQ, and also BAC, like 5, 4, 3 or 2 %, within the Financial sector portion of the portfolio as a whole?.....thanks....Tom
Q: Visa took a big drop today but I cannot see any news that would have triggered this. Any thoughts on whether this is a temporary blip or if there is company news that would cause the stock to go down?
thanks for your insight

Q: I currently own Visa and have done well. I like all of the payment processors. Should I stick with Visa, or take some profits and diversify into another processor? I am considering Mastercard, Square or Paypal.

Q: This is for my wife's RRSP, she is now 70 and will soon have to start withdrawing. Have recently sold J&J and have about 17K to re-invest. For the US portion of her portfolio she currently holds: AMTD; FB; AT&T; MSF. For stability (preservation of capital), some growth and growing dividends which of the above which you recommend without regard to sector. If you can suggest another or even two securities with better overall qualities that meet my requirements, I would appreciate your suggestion.
Q: Which would you prefer and why. Is now a good time to enter 1/2 position? I’m low on financials with only TD and GSY. Many thanks as always

Q: I noted Visa is in Business Services industry (software and programming) whereas MasterCard is listed in Financial Services. Shares for Visa currently lower than MasterCard. Going forward which of the two would be better value investment and why? I am thinking it is Visa but would appreciate your input.
Q: Recently I opened a Corporate Investing Account for our small business to put money not currently required vs sitting in a bank account ; investing period would be at least 5 years. Funds are in USD so the plan is to invest in US stocks and currently plan to invest $15,000 to $50,000 USD. I am considering MSFT , NVDA and V. Your comments / recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you.

Q: My wife and I are looking for growth and have a high tolerance for risk in our TFSA accounts. We have full positions in SHOP, TSGI, KXS, GSY, SIS, PHO, PBH, COV and half positions in RHT, WCP, GC and GUD. These will remain long term holds as long as there’s no material change in any company. We’re considering CSU and TOY. Could you comment on purchasing these at today’s prices and indicate potential future headwinds (China dispute on TOY). As a second question do you have any other suggestions that look particularly interesting to you today? Thanks for your incredibly valuable service.
Q: Is the drop on these two companies over done???
What is your assessment for the future?

Q: Hi, I am a dividend growth investor and looking to build a stream om passive income through dividends. I am 40 and have a long horizon (20+ yrs) so I'm not so worried about current income as I am about future dividend income and total return. I invest a part of my income every month. My current portfolio consists of mainly large cap dividend growth stocks in diversified industries in Canada, US and Europe. Mastercard and Visa look like great companies to me, high ROIC, high growth on all fronts, favorable developments that will benefit their business etc. They would also complement my portfolio well as I have no holdings from that industry yet. The only thing I am concerned about is their high valuations at this point.
So my question is, is this a good time to add MA (and perhaps V) to my portfolio? Or is it wise to wait for a pull back? Do you have a price point for entry? Your advice is appreciated.
