Q: Based on your previous answers you seem to have a luke-warm response to Visa as a stock and appear to favor U.S. banks for example over Visa. Can you expand on that preference and what your thoughts are on Visa alone. Folding Visa Europe into the company seems to offer a lot of potential. Do you think the risk of different payment alternatives becoming available puts Visa at too much risk given its relatively expensive multiple. Thanks for your input.

Q: Hi Peter and team again
I am looking at my SDRIF.
I have TD and RY in this account. TD has grown to a 10% stake, so I am thinking of selling 50%. What replacement do you recommend? BNS or XCI or other.?
I also have VISA in this account that has been flat all year, also being a 10% stake, I can sell 50% or all. Was thinking of SLF, PWF or STB. I would really like to have high yield investments here. Do you have any other high yield investments to recommend?
I understand this account for two questions. No problems.
Thanks
Margita

Q: The above group of companies, so called bond proxies medical supply and consumer staples do not seem to be participating in the Trump boost post election. Many have sold off sharply. Do you view this as a buying opportunity?

Q: I am aware that you dont follow US stocks as closely as Canadian securities, however I respect your opinion and feel free to respond if you are comfortable with the topic. Visa has lost Walmart Canada as a customer and although it is a small portion of their overall business do you see this as a start of a trend towards lower fees and therefore lower earnings. I have held this stock for several years and have done very well. Should I move on? Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter and 5i Research Team,
Can you please provide your analysis on VISA. There are so many positive factors with Apple iPhone pay and small business simplified payment processes. Can you comment on growth prospects? Do you think its a buy, sell or hold? Thank you. Linda

Q: I would appreciate your opinion on Visa. As you know they announced their earnings yesterday and the stock is down significantly this morning. It is about a 3% position in my portfolio and my average purchase price is $125.00. Your comments would be appreciated. Thanks
