Q: I own these stocks as part of my technology sector. Do you see any overlap in any of these names? Particularly between SHOP, LSPD and NVEI, or are they different enough to own all? Also if you were to choose to high grade 1-2 names, what would you choose if any? Thanks!

Q: I have a significant amount of cash to invest. I would like to allocate to some very high-quality stocks across various industries that can be bought and held for a long period of time so they can compound. If you could pick 10 companies that meet this criteria, what would they be? I was thinking about BAM, MSFT, V, COST, CP, UNH, HD, JNJ, GOOG, BRK.b but am open to suggestions or changes to this list. Q: With all the risks out there in the investing world these days it's hard for me to decide on an investing strategy that I can trust enough that I will hold equities even as they react and go down when each new risk becomes noteworthy. I've decided that the best strategy for me is to develop a list of:
1. high quality
2. inexpensive stocks
3. that pay dividends that are sustainable through difficult times.

Q: Hi 5i,

I have maybe a rare question for you. I have done quite well with my stock selections (much thanks to you for many of the wise choices) and are sitting on a pool of Capitol Gains. Now, my wife and I are entering the phase of our life where we can make some significant "tax-friendly" charitable donations. Always keeping in mind, saving enough for the rest of our days. Our question is: If you had to sell from the list I provided, and thinking of holding the remainder at least another 10 years, which would you chose to sell a portion of ? Perhaps the top 3, in order of choice ? Thanks so much.

Q: Hi group markets really tough to read right now ? what you 3 top sector's c/w 3 top picks in each / ideal entry price /short blurb on each.
I am particularly interested in Health care as I am presently below target. I just sold LLY because info on Diabetic drug was getting poor reviews that proved to be untrue so not am looking to get back in. so what a good entry point ? Thanks for your help

Q: My son has saved up for a bit and has a decent amount of capital for his age. He has a TFSA but his investments are varied and not the best for a long term portfolio. We recently sat down and planned out a long term portfolio that would less risky for long term holdings. Would you guys change/swap, remove or add any from this portfolio of Canadian Stocks? TD, MG, BAM.A, ENB, SLF, FSV, T, FTS, CNR and TRI. Is the market also in a comfortable position to currently make a large investment of capital? Thanks.
