Q: Please comment on CPH latest earnings. It looks like a bit of a mixed bag. The stock is expensive, but they are throwing off a lot of FCF and their strategy looks solid going forward. Thank you.
WM updated its MRE and positive PEA but the stock does not move up with record gold prices. Eric Sprott still owns about 16% and AEM 10%, Is it a buy at .055 cents?
Q: Re: Non-registered account. If a BUY transaction was done within the prior 30 days and now a PARTIAL SELL transaction is done resulting in a loss.....
QUESTION: Is the tax loss claimable or does the loss amount need to be considered superficial and added to the adjusted costbase of the remaining position? No further transactions would be contemplated for at least 30 days after the most recent PARTIAL SELL transaction.
Q: Hello 5i,
In response to Christopher's comment pertaining to Retirees - impending or current - another option would be to create that specific topic in the Forums. The forums have some extremely knowledgeable and helpful folks who contribute regularly and if members were directed to that venue, then perhaps even more folks could contribute with "real life, real time" input and share resource information, experiences, etc.
Cheers,
Mike
Q: I want to increase my energy holdings in the current market. Currently ENCC’s yield is around 14% due to selling covered calls. How do you anticipate that it will fare in the next few years?
Thank you for your excellent service.

Q: Odds on PAAS needing to raise their offer and/or another suitor making a bid? Do you feel the offer is good value? PAAS stock correcting took away most of the premium offered by the bid.

Q: I have above stocks in my RRSP I like to drop FFH and trim CSU LMN (i'm up 150% on both), like to add AD.UN DIR.UN or T, trying to increase my income as I'm retired, the idea is to preserve capital, is it a good time to add this new stocks ? thanks
OCI appears undervalued based on all the companies it has invested in, which are AE,ARIC,XXIX,MIS,MERG,KTR. The market cap on $18 million is less then market value of its investments in these companies.
Q: Wondering about GCG.A for dividend growth with chance of some appreciation in an un-registered account? Seems to have had very strong div growth over 20 years which is quite impressive with a very responsible payout ratio and decent if not spectacular growth.
