Q: I currently hold a half postion in Google, Mircrosoft and Meta. Im looking starting a half position in Intel. What is your thought on Intel for a least a 5 year hold.

Q: What is your opinion on the use of CDR's (Canadian Deposit Receipts) for the purchase of US Stocks? Also, what type of accounts would be the most beneficial and be the most risk in the use of them, RRSP, TSFA, RESP, or non-registered accounts?
I've recently purchased Palo Alta, Visa and Adobe using CDR's and it seems to be a way of getting US exposure while avoiding the immediate approximate 30% currency exchange, while using a CAD hedging process.
If you are somewhat positive on CDR's, what other US stocks would be good considerations.

Q: NVDA has been dropping for the past month,but still above its 50 Day Moving Average.
I like to see positive momentum before buying a stock.

Q: At current valuations what would be your top 3 picks, regardless of sector, amongst the available CDR's for a long term hold within the TFSA of a 26 year-old (top 4 picks if NVDA happens to be one of your top 3 choices). If you then also throw LMN, CSU, BA and ATD into the mix what would your ranking be (best to worst) along with your conviction/confidence level (10 = most confident, 0 = least confident) for each choice and a brief statement as to why. Q: I need to trim SMCI, NVDA and VRT. I have partial positions in AMZN, MSFT, AMD, LLY,GOOG, AXON, NXT, CELH, PLTR and NTNX. Could you please order the partial positions from high to low, for a potential add? What are your recommendations for 4 or 5 other growth stocks, any size/sector that I could investigate for a new position? Would any of the these growth stocks fit into the ranking of the partial positions? If so, could you place them into the ranking? Q: As Cerberas is not publicly traded, you may not have much to say but I thought I would ask. I read an article from Forbes, “Cerebras Update: The Wafer Scale Engine 3 Is A Door Opener” detailing their technology. With all of the fever surrounding AI, I found the discussion interesting, albeit over my head.
Any thoughts on their technology and its prospects to be adopted more widely? Any thoughts on weather they might eventually go public? Their web site has a link to a private equity investment for as little as $5000. Is this an option for a regular Joe like me?

Q: Hi Team,
I was debating taking a position in VRT. However, I am way overweight in NVDA at the moment in my portfolio. I was wondering if VRT is a stock that will be highly correlated to AI, and might track the sector same as NVDA? Perhaps they are too closely related to hold both? Or do you feel they are different enough that I should be holding both? I have been hesitant to trim NVDA for other AI plays simply due to the fact that NVDA seems to be the clear leader in the space and why sell the "Best"? Your thoughts please. Thanks

Q: I want to spend the next 14 months growing my TFSA to pay down my mortgage when it comes due in June 2025. I started this quest about 6 months ago with 20% of the funds, and I'm now about halfway there. I have funds in US for 6 positions, and Canadian for 3, and currently own the above stocks. I haven't yet made my TFSA contribution for 2024, so could add a position to either. Keeping in mind the remainder of my portfolio is well balanced (cash account and RRSP) and this is a 14-month growth mission, do you see anything I should sell, or can you recommend something I should buy?

Q: Would you be comfortable bringing VRT up to a full position? I currently have half a position and uncommitted funds to increase that to a full position. If you would prefer more diversity, can you provide three other suggestions for a US growth stock - not in the consumer cyclical space - for a TFSA? (NVDA already held.) Thank you.

Q: Can you please update your opinion on STM? Is it an "Ai company" and if so, why has it not taken off like many of the others? They seem to be focused on "edge ai" which may just be their branding or is it a different way of commercializing AI than what companies like Nvidia do? When I last asked about it in July you seemed somewhat constructive on the stock so I'm intrigued as to what it may be lacking or missing in the minds of investors to cause it to sit out the recent rally. Perhaps it isn't AI enough? Your recommendation on its worthiness as a buy or hold would be appreciated as well as clarification that it is or is not really an AI play and whether that matters to the investment case please.
