Q: I have about 45000 to invest and am considering setting up my own little Gold Etf ,perhaps of junior miners. This is for a Tax Free account. Does this sound like a reasonable plan and if so which companies would you recommend. I would prefer safe jurisdictions.

Q: Hi group what is going on with AEM (always thought of it as a blue chip in the gold space. I have owned it for over 1 yr and am down 25%. It not acting well even today with gold up considerably. Should I sell or hold on > what it going to take to recover after the horrible quarterly results. Thinking of selling and moving FNV . Your thoughts are appreciated

Q: I currently a small amount of GDX and GLD. I would like to increase my gold holdings a bit. Is there a stock you recommend? I am wondering about ABX or GOLD, if you like those, and is GOLD better than the CAD ABX? Or do you prefer another gold stock?
Also, is this a good time to buy silver? If so, would you recommend a stock or an ETF, CAD or US? Thank you.

Q: I'm an owner of the Balanced Equity portfolio. I had to turn over a lot of the portfolio in the second half of last year due to some transactions I was doing. I'm now back to having my cash and looking to rebuild the part of the BE portfolio I'm missing.

How do you see GIL for new purchases today? Any key BE names other than this one I should focus on now given market conditions today?

Q: Hello, I have about 10,000 in physical gold and silver (in safety deposit box) that I’am thinking of cashing in. Would probably buy one or two material or gold stock to collect small to medium dividend .
Question is would you just keep as is or switch to stocks ? And could you suggest two or three quality stock with good management, lower debt etc. ( maybe ETF?)
