Q: Is the debt not starting to be a concern here ?

Q: I may have missed a few, but pretty sure I've made every mistake trading in the stock market, although thanks to 5i I've done quite well over the years. Prehaps my biggest mistake is holding on to loosers too long and taking big hits. Recently I've promised myself to sell when I'm down 25%. So, I'm now down 25 or more % on these 4 companies but dont want to sell. What says you?

Q: Looking for some suggesting for a quality consumer cyclical company in Canada or US. Maybe a growth company or two and an established company with great financial metrics but not growing as much.

Look forward to your suggestions. My time frame is irrelevant - just want good co’s

Q: A general question.
What happens if shareholders don't vote in the annual meeting's voting ballot that we receive from companies in our mail?
Mostly it's about board elections, approving executive pays, approving the auditing company and a few other shareholder proposals that we are not fully aware of and it consumes quiet a bit of our time on voting as sometimes there are 15 or more questions.
If we don't submit our vote is it considered as voted as per management recommendations or management gets to vote on our behalf or its considered abstain ?

Q: WHAT INVESTMENTS CANNOT BE BOUGHT FOR THE TAX FREE SAVINGS ACCOUNT (TFSA) ?

Q: I just wonder about the analyst upgrades and downgrades reported by the Globe&Mail today on NTR. Here is the exact quote:

* Berenberg’s Aron Ceccarelli downgraded Nutrien Ltd. (NTR-N, NTR-T -1.84%decrease) to “hold” from “buy” and dropped his target to US$49 from US$92. The average target on the Street is US$85.59.

If the downgrade is so substantial (U.S. $49 vs. average of U.S. $85.59) don't they required some additional explanation? These "experts" should know many investors would take the numbers at face value and perhaps make some eventually regrettable decisions. Maybe the Globe just can't include all the details in such a short blurb, but if the numbers are so material should either the analyst, or the Globe, provide more details?

What's your view on this? And would you by any chance have those missing details? Thanks.

Q: I would like to buy a railroad for my son's portfolio. I note the Cdn railroads are currently more expensive on a PE basis than the US rails. This would be a long-term hold (he is 29 yoa, and going into RSP). What would be 5i's preferred choice? If you think CP or CNR, I am not opposed to waiting for a more favourable entry point.

Q: Can you please comment on MX's latest earnings report? Would you be comfortable buying at the current share price, especially considering the expected new production from its Geismar project in Q4 2023?

Q: I own CLF. It has been a disaster, down 30% in a year.

Competitors such as GGBM & STLD have held up much better.

Can you assess the prospects of CLF and provide an opinion as to whether to hold or add to CLF or sell and move into a company like GGB with a 14% yield.

Q: With a sale off the table there's not much positive here, but the price reflects that.
Emotionally it would be satisfying to capture some capital gains to offset my dental bills. Would you say there's little downside her, and the sale of the company is more likely with a better M&A environment?

Q: NFI has announced a package of initiatives which I assume are intended to address their burgeoning order book. There are a bunch of questions which arise as a result of their action including but not limited to adequacy and effectiveness, dilution, balance sheet improvement, residual problems etc. Could you please appraise their initiative and offer your comments?
