Q: I read with interest your recent response about high risk stocks for conservative investors. Me, becoming more a conservative investor (as I enter my 80's but still like growth....hahahaha). Q: I have LSPD at a loss in my TFSA. A two year chart suggest both NVEI and LSPD have dropped about 75% from their highs. With no tax loss benefit, is it worth switching to NVEI. (I am in no particular need of cash from this account for many years, if ever.)

Q: These 9 companies are the holdings in a growth oriented Canadian TFSA. The intent was for them to be long-term holds. However, NVEI, ILLM and LSPD are all down over 50% and some so rejigging is being considered.

Would you consider any of them to be a SELL?

Of the 9, which 2 would you be least inclined to keep in the portfolio and why? Please suggest potential replacements.

Q: All three stocks have been setting higher highs and higher lows since mid April. Have you heard any news on why these three stocks are having a positive uptrend recently? All three have crossed the 50 and 200 day moving averages. Clayton

Q: Everyone, I will be selling LSPD and need to buy another tech stock as a replacement. My present technology stocks are: AAPL, AMZN, CSU, MSFT, NVDA and SHOP. I have held those names for between 5 and 10 years. Do I add to the existing group above? Another name? I am NOT in favour of FB (can’t stand the CEO or the business). My preference is to add to SHOP because I am underweight that stock. Clayton

Lightspeed and Digital Turbine represent my biggest losers, down 60% and 70% respectively.
I am comfortable holding LSPD and APPS for a 5 year time frame but do you see some worthy growth for these two companies in that time or would you redeploy elsewhere?

Do you still believe in their growth story for the longer term?
