Q: Hi 5i We have $65000.00 in cash in an RRESP account. The funds will not be used for 7 years. We are looking to get back into the market. May we have 5 Canadian and 5 US suggestions. Thanks

Q: Could you please suggest an approach by which to initiate building a
position in Reitmans common shares; which seem to be weakening
slightly over the last few sessions, following the big move up after
the refinancing. The stores have continued to look attractive throughout
the company's troubles and some attractive location repositioning has
taken place in my area. The merchandizing tools all seem to have been
sharpened for the new era, and Penningtons would seem to be a potential beneficiary of a larger (!) clientele coming out of the pandemic.

Q: I'm loaded up on AEM and am looking at adding to other positions. I've got BTO, GCM, OR and MMX and thinking to add to BTO or GCM as I like the P/E's and yield.

How do you rate these? Are there any others to consider?

I have read your report that you have sent over to your customers stating that with this market correction it is time to build, i am with you all the way i am fairly new to this game been in it for only 2 years and still learning alot following your advise. I am at the age of 63 years old , if still healthy my time frame will be 5 years. Stating what you said about the market correction that we are in now, which companies would you feel is something that you can see moving in the right direction or which sector would you recommend? Q: Hi!
My question is around what to do with high growth, unprofitable technology companies that were once huge winners. If one has a small portion allocated to these companies, does it make sense to hold and one day things could turn and these stocks can gain again. There is so much talk to switch to value/cyclical/materials and that trade can last for a very long time. My guess is you favour diversification which I have, but of course wonder if these unprofitable tech names can go down another 50 percent and will they ever recover?? Which of the high growth unprofitable tech names would you be adding to or would you only add to profitable tech like Meta, Amazon, Google, etc...

Q: What do you think of Incyte's product line, long term upside/or downside potential is? What are the pros and cons of this stock, concerning the market they are in and where would they rank against their competitors, the financial ratios, insider buying/selling(which alerted me to this stock) and your opinion on the management ? Q: Re: Cryptocurrency in general; Luna in particular
My colleague informed me a bit about the Terra "algorithmic stablecoin platform" with Luna as its default currency, which is pegged to the USD.
Notwithstanding the complexities around crypto, and the thousands of "coins" out there, what do you think about the case for investing in cryptocurrency in general, and Luna in particular, as a small part (no more than 5%) of a long term, buy and hold portfolio.

Q: Hello Peter and co.,

I have a follow-up to Simon's question about tax-loss selling of QQQ posted on March 4.

Would leveraged ETFs, such as QLD and TQQQ, also be considered the same as QQQ? While those two ETFs are based on the NASDAQ 100 index, they don't track it directly.

(Also, I do realize you don't endorse the purchase of leveraged ETFs.)
