Q: Hi,

Can you pick 2 of these growth stocks, BYD, BAM, TFII, DII, that you would want to own for the next few years, hopefully with less volatility?

Q: As an investor, I've been in & out of Questor a few times over the past 10yrs. They seems to have a great technology to reduce green house gases but they never seem to get much traction in the oil/gas industry. For an industry that is under constant scrutiny to reduce emissions you would think they would get better adoption of their technology. What needs to change? The new US government will definitely be more pro regulation to fight climate change but will this be enough. Somehow I think the company should be doing more self promotion within industry.

How would you rate the performance of the management team to date?

Currently we hold seven stocks in our grandson’s (age 7) RESP. At this time, we are holding some cash and will be adding more cash in the new year. In your opinion what would be your top 3 ideas for a new addition or adding more to the current holdings.

Q: Hi 5i team,
Last week was about the 4th big rotation from growth to value this year. This morning Moderna announced success with its vaccine. All the fund managers are now adding extra 10 lb. value weights to their barbells. My barbell has been heavy on the growth side. While you often give target sector weightings, you don’t tend to do it between growth versus value. I know you are growth managers for the most part but does this 2nd vaccine and change in market sentiment now give you pause to consider placing more of a value tilt on one’s portfolio?

Q: Hi guys...thanks for the service. Wondering if you can name 2-3 Canadian and U.S. stocks that you feel have been unfairly punished over the past months...that you feel would be very good entry points and may rally quickly...more so a trade rather than a long term investment....thanks.

Q: Good morning folks, I would like some food for thought regarding a TFSA. Over time my TFSA has morphed into a Tech account which isn't so bad given recent sector performance. I am generally pleased with overall portfolio balance but feel that some diversification in my TFSA would be advisable. Would you please suggest which sectors (ranked if appropriate) are best held within a TFSA with a bit of colour commentary. Thank you so much for your input. Winner on COVID vaccine fight as they supply the material needed for test kits,. etc. Stock up a lot this year but seems to have started gaining traction with new CEO ~5 years ago - and started international growth.

Balance sheet in good shape and increasing ROE. Expensive.

What do you think longer term?

Q: Hi group now that W results are out and the stock has settled down I am still confused they had another blow out quarter but the stock has generally sold off (except for several days of upward momentum. Then on Friday a really bad day (down 13% + on the week ) is the market saying that the arrival of a vaccine is the catalyst for the stock to sell off? seems awful early to be forecasting that consumers are going to leave this on line supplier because the vaccine is a game changer - appreciate your views and recommendation buy sell or hold and why ?
