Q: Peter’s email today discussed CDRs
My question is - does this type of investment in US stocks contribute to the $100,000 threshold limit for reporting foreign property (form T1135)?

Q: With PRL's recent weakness, what do you think is a good entry point?
Q: I see no news that accounts for the drop- just someone bailing out? Good time to get in?
Q: Early September I asked a question about these two companies.
Hura has shown big increases in price while u.un
has gone nowhere
If you were to buy now would you buy Hura after this big run up ? Would you buy u.un also?
In your previous answer, you suggested buying both
Always
Thank you

Q: Good afternoon,
I am hoping to fill out a couple positions in my non registered account.
I’d like to do so while changing currency. Would it be worth selling the CDR, wait 30 days and rebuy in your prediction.
I’m assuming we may see some further downward pressure with tax season around the corner. What would be your strategy here?
Thank you.

Q: Help calm me down ! This stock has exploded and it’s in my TFSA ! Thank you, thank you.
With sugar plums dancing in my head I fear my
rational investment thinking has gone out the window but here it goes : GLXY it’s now 35 % of my TFSA and my TFSA is 5% of total investments ( banks, utilities etc )so it is roughly 1.5 - 2 % of total. The company has its toes in crypto and data centres, two of the hot themes of today, and seems well managed but I have been burnt before ( EGLX , TV. ) because of not knowing when to sell. I suppose position size, change in fundamentals, and valuation would be factors in making a decision. And if you sell, I should too, but until then hold on ?
Thanks. Derek.

Q: Hello 5i,
Retired investor requiring sustainable income.
I currently hold ZWG as a large part of my International holdings, however it is largely U.S. and I am currently overweight U.S. by 10% according to my P.A. analysis.
I require the higher income that the C.C. ETF's bring to the table and I was considering switching from ZWG to EMCC:CA (Global X MSCI Emerging Markets C.C. ETF), either in whole or in part. Currently I have no Emerging Market coverage to speak of.
I do have some other Global X products and have no issues with them, but I would like your expert opinion on my proposed switch. Are there any "red flags" that I should be aware of? Would there be other options that you could recommend that you would be far more comfortable with?
Many thanks for any clarity you can provide!!
Cheers,
Mike

Agnico Eagle Mines Limited (AEM $230.16)
-
Equinox Gold Corp. (EQX $16.29)
-
Aris Mining Corporation (ARIS $14.11)
Q: Like many of your subscribers, I am enjoying the current run up in gold. I have positions in EQX, AEM and ARIS. My question is what happens when/if the run abates or the price of gold sags, for whatever reason. Which of the gold companies, including the above, are best suited to survive in a lower gold price environment, and why? Many thanks
Q: After the recent convertible note offering the market seems positive on it. Whats your thoughts? Can this have a NBIS like moment where it announces a large contract that then validates their position in the data centre build out?

Brookfield Corporation Class A Limited Voting Shares (BN $60.29)
Q: Is recent question I asked was only partially answered. The question was asked by Tim on Oct 8. Here is your response:
Our top five for a growth investor with a long-term timeframe would be: SHOP ($220 if possible), BN ($91-$93), TRI ($190 to $200), CSU ($3800), TD ($105 to $110) /BNS ($85).
The part of the question not answered was whether these large cap stocks would be suitable for a tfsa. I have been using small caps mostly, but now am wanting to get more conservative. Thanks very much

Q: I have asked a question on WGO previously and should have bought months ago but missed the rally. Would appreciate an analysis today on the merits of buying today or letting it go?
Would you give me a few small cap gold stock names that are still viable at the price of gold sky rocketing lately?
Thanx as usual

Q: Hi Team,
I was looking for quality growth names that were attractive today for purchase. Geni was on the list due to the recent weakness in the sports betting sector. Do you see it as a opportunity to buy at these levels? Could you also provide a couple names on your radar either cnd or US that you see as particular good buys today for a 10yr hold? Thanks
Shane.

Q: Good morning,
What happens in a rate cut cycle with this ETF.
Beaucoup Thanks for your unique service from a long time subscriber. Didn't think I would make so much money in the market. Time in the market not market timing as you put it.

Q: Thoughts on FITB after the Comerica deal. Would this be one of your favorites in the regional banking space?
Q: Are you familiar with Cleanspark and does it look to be investable or a highly speculative stock at current levels?
Q: Hello 5i,
What could be the purpose of scheduling an “investor day” on november 20th, with AIF in an official strategic review process? Note that this is only the 2nd time (to my knowledge) that AIF is doing such a “investor day” during the past 10 years (the other was in 2021). According to you, does it decrease your estimation of the probability of a sale of the whole company? The stock did not move today on this announcement. Thank you
