Q: Please comment on the review from a new book from Michio Kaku and how the coming of quantum computing would affect companies in the SOX index such as NVDA. Are there any public or private companies at the forefront of this advance?

Q: What is your view of ATVI as a long term hold for safety and growth? Are there any companies with better prospects that you would rather hold? If you were to sell ATVI to invest in these better prospects, would you do so now or wait until the MSFT acquisition is officially dead?

Q: I have been fortunate to own the above names, some for not as long as I wish I did. When you look at their 10 year charts they are impressive. Can I ask you to list a few more Canadian and perhaps several U.S. stocks that maybe also pay a small dividend but that you consider must own names for long term growth? (I do own BN as well). Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you give a brief explanation of what VMS is. Also is this the main component of all three: CSU, Topicus and Lumine. I have some understanding of the operations of these three companies but am still somewhat confused as to their differences from each other. Q: I am interested in investing in companies that are leaders in developing AI. So far I have identified GOOG, MSFT, NVDA, and AMD. Do you agree with this list and are you able to add to it? I have seen AMZN, AAPL, IBM and META with regard to AI, but are they simply users of AI rather than developers?

Q: Yesterday both GOOG and MSFT reported first quarter results. Considering this limited information which company would you invest intoday for a 2 year hold. Would you consider that MSFT results are reduced by a large "extraordinary charge" for termination of employees that is not expected to be incurred in the future in making this opinion. Thanks. Mike

Q: I currently hold MSFT, NVDA, AMZN, and GOOG. All are at a 5% weight, except for AMZN, which is at 3%. I have an additional 2% to invest. Would you suggest topping up AMZN to 5%...or purchasing another tech stock with the additional funds? If the latter, would you please provide three stocks ranked by both risk and potential profit...and explain why you have selected each? Thank you.

Q: Its pretty obvious that AI is going to be a big investment thesis this year and likely for a number of years. It looks like it will be very disruptive, which will create investment opportunities. With that will come hype and promotion of low quality companies that will get propped up in the wave of AI. Like crypto, NFT's, etc etc I think AI will probably be the next craze, and a lot of money will be made and lost. But so far the only recommendations I'm reading about are mega caps like Nvidia, Apple, GOOG which can do well but they aren't going to be multibaggers. Do you have any insight into smaller companies that may benefit most from this AI boom? Looking for game changing smaller companies that have the best chance at multibagger gains? Thx

I am up 370% with my stock in NVDA and would like to trim a third of the stock. With the proceeds I would like to add to a portfolio holding AWK, BRKB, BX,COST,EMR, ISRG RSP. QQQ. JPM MDT MSFT, NVDA , PEP, PG, O , VZ, V, WM . I am looking for two or three stock suggestions that would round out this list for growth or growth and income.

I am nibbling away at buying these now but I am wondering whether I should wait to finish buying my full position on each until the recession is over.

Q: Hello Folks:
As many others I have been hanging onto our Tech stocks (Goog, Amazon and Apple) hopping improvement is in sight.

Currently in consumer stocks we own Costco and Johnson and Johnson and media advises are diversifying more into this segment (eg. Mendalez, P&G etc.) useful strategy.

Do you think thinning down Tech is good advice? Perhaps utilities such as Enbridge could also be good defensive play. We are seniors valuing dividends with which Tech world is parsimonious. Apple appears the best bet in Tech as they actually produce and sell real products. Everything changes, however we value your thoughts and suggestions of including specific equity options (including an ETF). Currently I do not own any ETF's as I have preferred individual companies.
