Q: Hi there, wouldn't it be worthwhile for some to takeover WELL now, by paying a real good premium to todays price and yet... still scoop up WELL on the cheap, based on its future potential and better execution with new management/board?

If so, who do you feel would want to take over WELL?

What would be a good takeover price based on Q1 results and 2025 forward guidance?

Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i!

Can you list 5 undervalued or beaten up Canadian stocks you feel are poised for growth in the next 2-3 years?
Also, RBC has had a real run, is it a good time to step in or would you wait? For a bank would you consider RBC’s stock price expensive?
Thanks for all you do!

Q: Hi Team,
Over the past several years, as a general rule, one of the best buying opportunities seems to be buying quality, best in breed companies while they are down. Stocks such as NVDA, META, SHOP, BN, CRWD come to mind here where in the past we have seen significant sell offs but the quality names always seem to recover. My question is, are we witnessing this type of opportunity right now with UNH? In reality the name has been a steady eddy, reliable grower in the sector for years. Now...it loses over half it's market cap in a month? In my un-professional opinion this seems much too extreme to me for a company of this magnitude, with a long track record of success, and seemingly huge moat in the US. Is it time to start picking away at buying this name, collecting the now near 3% dividend, and sitting on it for the longer term? Collecting the div and having the name recover in say 3 years would calculate to a quite lucrative return. Thoughts?

Thanks,
Shane.

Q: My focus is on ELV. With the Medicare fraud investigation just announced on UNH, is there the potential for similar risks at ELV? Its stock price seems to have moved down in sympathy with UNH recently (a classic M-pattern technically speaking).

What are your thoughts with a long term investment in this space, and in ELV in particular?

Q: I know these types of questions are asked a lot, but I always enjoy your responses to them....

With a 5-10 year outlook, what small to medium Canadian companies do you see being able to achieve compounder status? I'm thinking stocks along the lines of LMN, PRL, TVK....any others?

Thanks in advance. - Jeff

Q: These 4 stocks , held in roughly equal amounts, constitute my TFSA , which holds my riskier , growthier companies. It’s early yet but could you give me 3 companies to review and follow before the next TFSA contribution.
Also, your choice of either PXT or TSU as potential picks. Thanks Derek
