Q: I own SHOP, AMZN and BABA and might be a bit overweight in the online shopping space. I am thinking it might be wise to dump one of the three. SHOP is the smallest weighting of the three thanks to it's spectacular decline from where I purchased. All are in regestered accounts so no tax considerations. How would you rank these three against each other today and if you were going to drop one which one would it be?

BDI just reported a good quarter. The stock has moved to new highs. They seem to be doing very well in the recent past. However I am wondering how far can they go. I am up and wondering if I should just lock in my profits and be happy. Please give your thoughts on there future prospects. Thank you...your analysis is always helpful.

Q: Robert Gill of Goodreid Investment Counsel had a bullish opinion on TC Energy in today's Globe. Recent opinions on TRP from 5i are less bullish. Do Gill's opinion or numbers do anything to change your opinion? ENB is my long term hold in the sector,  TRP would be a 'clip the coupon  while awaiting some reversion to mean on the share price' type holding.  
A related question: With these high debt utility type stocks, how great are the risks we go into multi year period of higher interest rates?

Q: Performance of WXM (momentum ETF) is (almost) always very good. It is not easy to build a Canadian portfolio than beat it.This index is composed of 31 “liquid equities of Canadian companies displaying above average return on equity, with an added emphasis on upward revisions of fiscal earnings estimates, and positive technical price momentum indicators”. On the web site of CI global Asset only the top 15 holdings are listed. Is there a way to know all of the 31 holdings ?

Q: In a follow-up to my question earlier, if I understand correctly the fund should go down another 1 1/5% as per your answer:
''HSAV has suspended new units, so investors can only buy in the market. Thus, it has traded at a premium to its asset value, and the premium is slowly decaying towards true asset value. The units are about $1.50 above asset value currently. But it can still move higher with any big buy orders coming in.'' unless a white knight comes in to buy a large order...

What happens with the yield that the fund collect with the high yield savings account it's invested in? Does time invested in the fund add value? In other words how is one supposed to make money or even hold on to one's money beeing invested in that fund? In your January 9th answer to a question asking for stability and income you put HSAV at the top of the list.

Q: Greetings, 5i Research,

Thank you for your authoritative answers to my previous questions.

Outside my tax-advantaged accounts, I plan to sell just-in-the-money, cash-secured puts on SPY on Mondays, expiry dates on Fridays of the same week. I expect to be assigned half the time. When assigned, I will own SPY, which will allow me to sell just out-of-the-money covered calls on the security. I will repeat the process when assigned, and sell just-in-the-money, cash-secured puts again.

My question is what are the risks of this approach?
