Q: Hi 5i team,
I was ready to sell AYX, I am at 40% loss in RRSP, and your previous answers didn't seem too encouraging., but I read the following news "Alteryx said on Monday it has agreed to be acquired by private-equity firms Clearlake H Group and Insight Partners, in a deal valued at $4.4 billion including debt...Alteryx stockholders will receive $48.25 per share"
What is your advise, sell/hold?

Q: I currently have BBU, BBUC, BN, CRWD, LSPD, MSFT and U in my TFSA account. BN, CRWD and MSFT have shown good growth but I have losses in the other stocks. I will be investing $7000 in my TFSA for 2024. Would you suggest any changes to my current stock holdings? For my 2024 TFSA investment, would you suggest adding to one on my current stock holdings or investing in another stock such as LMN, AMZN or LMN? Thank you

Q: Hi Folks,
I am looking at adding to one of my positions in my RRSP account. I have AAPL, MSFT and GOOG that I am thinking of adding to a full position. May I have your opinion as to which one of the three would be best to add to today.
Thanks,

Q: Dear 5i
Are smci and vrt different enough to own both in a TFSA ?
Also i was thinking of buying NVDA for one TFSA and AMD for the other TFSA as a way of not betting just on one or the other . Would you agree with this line of thinking or not ?
Thanks

Q: What are likely to be the most durable investment themes for the next 5-10 years or more, and what would be the best ways to play them?

Q: I sold SMCI in my TFSA the other day after the initial 30% boost, intending to buy it in my RRSP but got sidetracked and it has shot up some more. Still buyable? Or wait for a pull back? I’m also wondering if CELH is a hold or a buy. Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i,

I've only owned ENPH for about 6 to 8 months but have been somewhat disappointed in the results. What do think of the company at this time and is it worth holding or should one think of moving on?

As an alternative, I'm considering NXT. What would you think about the switch?

It is for the growth portion of my portfolio.

Thank you!!

Q: Further to previous questions, I have ZWT as a Tech ETF, and has done well, but things like SMCIs pop last week would have definitely not been fully realized. Is there a solid Canadian listed Tech ETF for putting in my TFSA? I would like to avoid tax things if it pays a dividend. US listed options as well, preferably with negligible dividends.

Can you suggest a few options for each market, with low fees and a good management team? and maybe a specialized Data center ETF?

Thanks

James

Big drop today in 3M ...would you consider this an opportunity to initiate a small position....I read a recent 5i response about contracting valuations and share ownership driven by attractive dividends...does this hold...how do you view dividend safety. and what entry point would you consider ..

Q: Greetings:
Starbucks seems to have good growth, and cash flow, but negative shareholder equity like most of the tobacco companies. It also seems like they have a problem with CEO'S. Mr. Schultz has to be on call to return when needed. Presently he is retiring from the board. I notice that some members of 5i have shares. Good investment and growth expected? or will it be flat until it finds its bearings.
Thanks, Ben.

Q: BMY:

1 What is your current assessment of BMY?

2. Its share price has dropped in the last year. Does it have reasonable prospects to increase from here?

3. It has a somewhat attractive dividend, around 4.75%. Is that sustainable? Does it have any history of dividend increases?

4. Can you describe its pipeline potential?

Many thanks for your excellent service.

Q: What are your sentiments on TSLA for the next 6 months? Buy / Sell / Hold?

While they do complete on quality and features, they are now also competing on price; obviously challenging for margins. Also Elon's comment about control are concerning, certainly suggesting conflict. I'd be OK sitting this one out if the 'story' will not clarify for some length of time. Energy storage systems to the rescue?

Thanks.
