Q: Could you please suggest 3-5 of the 'safest' products that provide a 7% yield. They could be stocks, preferred shares, corporate bonds, GICs... whatever. No specific time horizon. Could you please list them in order of safety. Thank you very much.
Q: Hi, I’m wanting to replace Trp as I’am losing confidence in the stock, and I already have Enb.
Sector not an issue, so could you recommend something from your income or balanced portfolio that you like going forward. I’m thinking more in line with a stock that may do better if we do get a market correction. (My first thought was something like ATD). Could you give 3 picks
Thanks
Q: I own all of the above. I am up with PPL and ALA and about break even with ENB and TRP. I feel too much pipeline exposure??
Which two would you keep?
Q: Just wondering what happens if:
1) If one buys equal amounts of the same Canadian listed company on TSE and NYSE in their respective currencies.
2) After 1 year TSE price has not changed but US/CDN dollar rate has increased.
3) If US listed stock is sold would there be a capital loss?
Q: Can you please provide your thoughts on the stocks listed for a RESP that will start to draw down in 4 years? In addition to these positions the portfolio has a good core position in CDN, US and INTL large cap ETFs. Any that you would get rid of now? If so, please provide alternatives (both Cdn and US).
Q: These 4 'blue chip' stocks (BCE, TRP, ENB, BNS) pay healthy dividends, but basically are trading where they were 10 years ago. If you were to look out 5 years, how would you rank them best to worst, in terms of how much their share price will increase from today....Thanks...Glenn
Q: Good Day. Could you please classify the listed stocks into their appropriate GICS sectors? Thank you kindly.

Q: Can you explain the details of the TRP spinoff that is planned for the second half of 2024 please? I invested in TRP for the dividend income. What do you recommend I do after the spinoff is completed knowing dividend income is the highest priority when investing in this company?
Q: I sold TRP for tax loss selling and used ENB for proxy as you recommended.
I am seeing that TRP is rising much faster than ENB.
Is there any reason for this disproportional rise of TRP vs ENB .
Thank you
Q: Hi,
Could you please rank ENB, PPL and TRP in order of preference for income with some growth? Is it a good time to be adding to this sector? Thank you in advance!
My RRSP portfolio consists of the above stocks all with relatively the same weighing. Can you suggest 5 names or so, (CDN and U.S) that I take a look at that would complement the above? I am looking for a company that would be a good buy today for both income and capital appreciation - total return.
Thanks
